    • TRIM RING ROUGH-IN LARGER THAN WINDOW ROUGH-IN

I bought the 24" x 20" horizontal window. I built the frame on my reconstructed wall for my pop-up to stand-up wall camper conversion using the measurements provided by the vendor for the window rough-in, which is 23 5/8" x 19 5/8". I didn't check the trim ring, assuming the measurements would be the same.....THEY'RE NOT!! So make sure you measure the trim ring rough-in dimensions because they are larger than the window rough-in!!! Another consumer stated the same problem....I wish I would have read that!! The product also appeared to be used, or a returned item, due to rub marks on the anodized finish, and some scuff marks as well. Also, the trim ring had a thick 2" long piece of aluminum crimping the ends together, which is not needed unless it's for shipping purposes. But it was crimped securely in place, and I had to remove it for proper installation. Weird! I don't know why they do these things. Not exact fit. Hired installers. Cut wall on motor home to make it fit. Glad it's on and hasn't shown any leaks. Screen is also too large. Not opening that window. Ordered it as 30x60, but came more like 31.5 x 60.

Fit between my trailer studs perfect so i did not have to cut any studs. Definitely recommend predrilling the holes even though instructions say you dont have to.
