I recommend you let a professional do this job. That being said; myself and 4 neighbors got the job done. Make sure that you get a stop on the spring or you can hurt yourself. Yes.!!!! It went on fine and it looks good and does the job! Seems like a good product as only time will tell.

My toy hauler awning was separated from the trailer, and the spring was completely unwound. I never replaced the awning because I was hearing all the horror stories about replacing it, and how difficult it was. I bought the awning and rewound the springs, and replaced the fabric with me, myself, and I, and it was nowhere near as difficult as described! I would 100% buy again, but time will tell if that’s even necessary, because the fabric seems to be very good quality. ... show more

Item exactly as listed. Even though there are not really any instructions to speak of because this will fit many different awnings, just google your specific awning to see how to replace it. Will buy again if anything happens to it.
