If I were comparing thise to the $200 mixing board I've been using for years, it would get a much lower score. But this is not a product aimed at replacing professional or even semi-pro gear. Thiis is aimed at gamers, and folks just getting into podcasting, and it hits that sweet spot between inexpensive and capable very well. In fact, if it weren't for the manual being so weak, I'd give it 5 stars, but a beginner level product needs to have a manual with much more detail than this one. Let's dig into the details. First off, you get a complete set up for $50. A decent microphone, swing arm stand, pop and wind filters, and the mixer plus some cables to get started. It has everything you need to run a podcast. Now, almost everything is plastic, so durability will be an issue, but you can always upgrade your gear if you decide tha podgasting or Twitch gaming really is for you. The arm on the pop filter is a little weak, meaining you'll have to position the filter just so in order to get it to stay in place. Also, the connection between the swing arm and the microphone is a very soft plastic. It will cross thread easily to be careful. The shock cradle for the mic is a nice touch, and fairly robust; it might outlast the rest of the kit. Finally, the mixer itself has a few bells and whistles, like voice changing, which is marginal, looping, and noise reduction. The noise reduction feature is probably the worst feature implemented. Yes, if cancels noise; it also cansels your voice unless you hit and maintain a sweet spot on the microphone. That asie, the basic functionality is good. the sliders do not introduce any noise that I heard, which is surprising on a mixer at this price. You also get a nice mix of connections on the back, although this is where the manual really falls down. While it talks about the ability to control and adjust background music, nowhere does it say how to bring the background music in. You can use a bluetooth source, or you can use the two way USB/OTG connection to bring in your background music. Use whichever is most convenient. Yes, bluetooth will compress the music stream, but it really won't be noticable on a streaming platform, given the quality level of this mixer. In short, this is a nice starter mixer for a beginning podgaster, or a gamer just getting started. It's good enough to let them learn without breaking the bank if they decide it isn't for them.

I ordered this for my husband who is writing this review. I have a long love affair with sound and music. I started by listening, moved into recording, mixing, designing, and just playing it. So I have pretty picky ears in general. But I’ve also learned that there IS a tool for every task, and if you are wanting to get into mixing, podcasting, recording videos with sound, or just learning about the art of sound production, then this little unit is actually perfect! Of course, you get what you pay for in anything electronic, but to have a unit come in at just $70 that has the following actually makes you wonder why folks charge as much as they do sometimes for audio mixers. Here are the highlights: • dual microphone inputs – one 3.5mm input and one combination ¼”/balanced (XLR) input, which can also accommodate 48V phantom power (don’t worry if you don’t know what that means right now) • inputs for music (USB-C or bluetooth), power/charging and TWO headphones (one marked headphone and the other marked headset – don’t know why) • output quality is 44.1 KHZ at 16 bits – for those not familiar with those terms, it’s CD quality ◦ Quick tip! For incoming music, use the USB-C/OTG input from your phone or computer instead of bluetooth. Bluetooth compresses sound, OTG does not. It may not make a difference to some, but others WILL hear the difference. You want the best sound possible coming in, of course! • faders (volume control) to control the balance (mix) mics, incoming music or game sounds, monitor level for headphones, and output (final out to your computer, video camera, etc) and reverb for the mic inputs (adjustable) • Pop filter AND wind screen included! • Stated 5+ hours of portability when fully charged! Now, as I’ve said before, you typically get what you pay for, so don’t expect professional, REALLY high-end feel and sound from this unit. That being said, this thing is COOL! Sound quality is more than usable. Features, though basic, are more than enough to get started and keep you going for a long while. Easy to use and figure out (I didn’t even look at the manual, other than for more detail). I said it before – this thing is cool! If you’re just getting started or want a basic mixer with enough tools to keep you going for a while that you can take in the field with you, this is highly recommended!

This is a great little mixer for someone starting out in podcasts or gaming, etc. It comes with a microphone, additional cables, and the mixer offers some great features. The microphone comes with a stand and cover to prevent wind noise. From the mixer you can do things like mute, loop video, change your voice and such. The battery has lasted around 3-4 hours depending how much it is used, but the charger can be plugged in and continue to use while it is charging. This is not a professional grade mixer, but for beginners this is a great way to get started learning how to use a mixer.

Pretty solid mixer for beginners in streaming or podcasting. The setup was easy since it’s plug-and-play, and the dual mic inputs with phantom power are a nice touch if you want to use a proper condenser mic. The RGB lights are fun, and the voice effects are more of a novelty but entertaining for casual use. The noise cancellation works, though it can cut off softer parts of your voice if you’re not speaking close enough to the mic. Build quality is mostly plastic and real lightweight, but for a starter setup it feels decent and works as expected. Battery life is a few hours on its own, but you can keep using it while charging. Overall, this isn’t pro-level gear, but for $50 it’s a great way to test the waters in content creation without overspending. Perfect for beginners or people who want something simple and functional for entry- level production.
