I received the Reboot RBM 2500 PRO about a week ago. I have a Reboot Plasma Cutter that i like really well and gave me confidence to try the welder. I like that it is a 250 amp welder. I also really like the large display. It is intuitive and user friendly. The unit is a solid metal case which makes it more durable than alot of manufacturers using plastic. The fit and finish is nicely done. I love the efficiency and safeguards. It gradually ramps the power up imstead of a spike which most welders have. This contributes to a longer life for the welder. I was anxious to try it out and compare it to the many other welders i have had. I was very much pleased! I feel it welds as good as my most expensive welder. The arc is very sharp and stable, which gives you control over the welding process. The bead quality is excellent and it is very consistent and reliable. If this welder continues to perform the way it does now and proves to be durable, i will absolutely purchase more Reboot items. I feel you got a whole lot of welder with this unit irregardless of the price which happens to be affordable for most people. If there was one thing that could be improved it would be the length of the ground cable. Mine came with a ground cable 6 to 6.5 feet long which requires you to move the welder aroumd much more than a longer cable that would allow you to leave it parked in one area. Again, i am more than excited with this welder and hope that it proves to last a long time. I would absolutely buy it again. Give it a shot. I think you will be pleased. UPDATE It is Jan 24th so i have had the welder couple weeks approx. On a job this week i was using it and in a 2 day period it would switch itself from 110 , which i had it plugged into, and would put itself on 240. When this happened my welds quality went drastically bad. I would catch it after first couple times and turn it off. When it came bqck on it was back to 110. It happened about 3 times today alone. I would turn it off and back on but after starting a weld it would turn itself back to 240. So i will be returning it. It is dissapointing as i liked the way it was laid out on the display and when it was functioning correctly it welded beautifully. But i cant keep a unit that i know there is something wrong with.

So far It works good. Cables are somewhat heavy duty and reasonable length. I've only done stainless fluxcore and stick. I haven't tried aluminum yet which is the main reason I got it. It's seems the controls are very digital but somewhat convoluted. So far I like it but we'll see how goes. I'll update after tormenting it more
