These little readers are cute as can be and look very stylish. The only issue I have is that if they are dropped off your head (this has happened twice to me), the nose piece will pop off. Blah! I thought at first I could “fix” them but no…it cannot be repaired. Luckily, they are inexpensive enough.

The glasses arrived and look and fit great. I have a large head and they fit me well. I was surprised to receive 4 leather looking sleeves for the glasses to be stored in and two lens cleaning cloths. What a nice surprise! Definitely recommend.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (see update!): I like the half glasses, which I received today. WHY? Because you can look over them and see mid and far range. When you look down you can focus up close. Very versatile. I wouldn't say they are sturdy because I had a pair and they are very lightweight, and the wire is flexible. Once they bent out of shape as my grandson came to hug me. They crushed onto my chest! In future I have to remind him to be careful not to crush the glasses! ALSO, I asked Amazon to make sure the lenses were perfectly positioned in the frame. A pair I bought a year ago had lenses that were crooked in the frame. The Amazon assistant immediately typed a note to the glasses packer to make sure the lenses were well-placed. They are perfect. Thanks Amazon!! UPDATE: ON CLOSER INSPECTION. LENSES ON 2 OF 3 GLASSES WERE NOT PLACED IN THE FRAME CORRECTLY. Lenses jut out from one side of the frame 500 mm at the bottom. Only glued on sides of lenses. Disappointed. Am returning 2 of the 3 glasses. THEY BETTER BE PERFECT! the gold frame one was okay. DISAPPOINTED! The company that sells REVEE half frame wire glasses NEEDS BETTER QUALITY CONTROL. OTHERWISE, THEY WASTE CUSTOMER TIME! 4-19 Returned defective glasses by UPS and received replacement glasses 4-18. AGAIN, one out of 3 were defective. left lens jutted out one-half centimeter from the wire frame at the bottom. Downgraded my rating to a 3 (really should have been a 2). (see PHOTO) I would not want to subject busy friends of colleagues to the inconvenience of driving to UPS to return the items to AMAZON. I urge Amazon to contract with an over-the counter reading glass company that has reliable QUALITY CONTROL!!! I am a loyal and frequent customer of AMAZON. I have no time to return the defective silver glasses and will just keep it. But I must say, I am quite disappointed at the moment! :-(

After cataract surgery I bought these for reading. They're perfect because they sit low on my nose to read and I can easily look up for distance without having to remove them. The side bows are skinny, so they don't fit some of the neck attachments.

I needed some lightweight inexpensive readers after cataract surgery, these are comfortable, frame seems sturdy, fit my small face, but after using one day, they are already scratched. I guess I was expecting them to be as scratch resistant as my Rx glasses. I am very careful with my glasses, so they must scratch easily.

These readers are wonderful! They are so light and perch comfortably on my nose so that I can read my tablet and also look over top of the lenses at the tv. I can keep a pair at my computer and another by the sofa without having to chase one pair around the house. They appear well made, and considering my use on the sofa or at my desk, I expect them to last quite a while. The set I bought was 1 pink and 1 purple, but would have liked more options like blue. However, the price was excellent and I'm happy. I will likely buy additional pairs to have one for my purse and perhaps the car.

I recently had cataract surgery, and it has changed my vision in both eyes so much that I can no longer use my previous prescription glasses either to read or to see at a distance. Since it will be another month before I can get new glasses and since I need to be able to read for a variety of reasons, I decided to try reading glasses for now, and boy, am I glad I did! I had been frustrated and disappointed by the outcome of my surgery until I found the half moon style, and it solved both of my problems. They make the letters on printed material crystal clear for me, but when I'm not reading, I can look out over the top and see normally, since my eyes were corrected for distance vision, and the reader strength becomes a disadvantage for anything but close vision. If you do decide to buy these, the trick is to find the strength that is right for you; otherwise, you will be disappointed. Also, you may find that you need a different strength for reading print material than for reading from a computer screen.
