I ordered the RealTree Ice shirt in Medium and it’s exactly as pictured. For reference, I’m 5'8", 180 lbs with an athletic build (42" chest, 32" waist). I usually wear a Large in shirts like this, but based on the size guide and other reviews, I went with Medium—and I'm glad I did. It still fits a bit loose, even after a couple washes, so keep that in mind if you're between sizes. If you're looking for a more fitted feel, you might consider sizing down again (assuming Small fits similarly). The shirt has a relaxed, technical flex fit. The sleeves are slightly long on me, which was expected, but not a dealbreaker. One bonus I didn’t realize it had: thumb holes—great for added coverage. The hood design is solid, covering the ears and staying in place to block wind and sun. It’s exactly what I wanted for fishing—no more sunburned neck or ears. Note: no draw string on the hood. Performance-wise, this shirt dries incredibly fast—better than some of my other similar shirts when I sweat or get wet. That’s a big plus on hot or humid days. As for the material: it’s thin, which makes it breathable and comfortable, but I’m curious how durable it’ll be long-term and how much sun protection it actually offers. Time will tell. Washing is easy—just toss it in the wash with similar colors and over to the dryer. No shrinkage after two washes. The only thing I’ll be watching for is how easily the lighter (white) areas of the shirt might stain. Overall, this is a great lightweight performance shirt. Just be thoughtful about sizing and maybe manage expectations on how rugged it is. ... show more

Sizing is true to size for a large, my regular size is a large and I ordered a large. My large measures about 42 inches at the chest, 27.25 inches long, and about 42 inches at the waist. It lays really nice and does not look big. They reference the large for a 42-44 inch, the material has a lot of stretch so if you are a 44 I think that would be fine. There is a lot of give to this shirt which probably contributes to how comfortable this is. I love the variation in the blue water pattern, it is bright and eye catching and looks like a fishing shirt. The material protects you from the sun but is thin enough to be comfortable. This shirt is very sporty and is perfect for boating, fishing, kayaking or just wearing. It has thumb holes, so the top of your hands are protected from the sun. I love the hood and actually use it in the sun. Care: It washed fine on cold, it says you can tumble dry low. When I wash I usually just put on a hanger out of the washer.
