The name says it all... it really is raw, unpasteurized, unheated and delicious!! I have been looking for a true raw honey for years...buying numerous brands that tasted good but just did not seem like raw honey (probably because they were not). The honey arrived quickly and was securely packaged and in excellent condition. I have finally found a TRUE raw honey. This is the only raw honey I will buy from now on. This is my 3rd time and it's always consistently amazing. I love that it is not filtered, heated or anything added to it. Straight from the hives. The texture is solid and creamy depend on temperature but never watery or running. I love the wax as i chew on it.. overall highly recommend.

I love Really Raw Honey. Truly love it, eat it every day. It's sweet, and not bad for you like processed sugars. The research on honey and how the body reacts to it is amazing--it's totally different than other sources of sugar. Really great stuff. And this brand normally has amazing honey, quality cappings, everything is great. My wife has been ordering me smaller jars from another marketplace that she gets her groceries from. I was going through them too fast, so I decided to see if I could find a larger jar. I found this on Amazon, it was on Prime so I knew I could get it quick, and I was very excited. As it turns out--this particular listing was a major no-go. The jar arrived with a cracked lid, halfway-open seal, and honey all over the outside of the jar. Sticky mess. There were no cappings and a very odd smell from the inside of the jar... not like this brand of honey normally smells. It was an unpleasant smell. So, as you might be able to guess, I did not eat any of it. Immediately requested a refund (that Amazon promptly granted, thankfully). I'm writing this so that YOU, dear shopper who is looking for MOAR HONEY in their jar, will take heed. By all means buy this brand, buy a big jar, but not this seller. Not this listing. I am from Vermont – a New York times best selling author wrote a book on why Vermonters live longer than anyone in any state in the country – – the gist is because they eat honey that is raw and I’m heated and they drink raw unfiltered apple cider like Braggs or plain old fashion Heinz brown vinegar — Honey has 32 enzymes – – if you cook it, you might as well eat plain sugar – – I’ve probably tried 20 types of honey on Amazon – – how the hell do you know if it’s been heated Are you— I don’t know – – There are a number of mysterious Tess to give honey and see if it’s raw, unpasteurized, heated… Etc.‘s This honey seems like an honest beekeeper – – it is one of the few big keepers with the words and “not hated“ on the bottle– – I buy the 5 pound jars – – this one actually has particles at the top of the honey – – that is what I am looking for – the people who say they are, honey is unpasteurized, but don’t say unheeded on the bottle always flummox me – – they put every word in the book on their description of their honey on Amazon, yet 95% when you zoom in on the bottle does not have the words ‘UNHEATED’– – Heating honey is less labor-intensive for the beekeeper – – the honey is more runny, and they can get it into the jar a lot easier and a lot faster – – but in doing so they’ve killed the goose – – ... show more

I've tried several different brands of honey over the years, but this remains my absolute favorite. Its fragrance and flavor are exceptional. The waxes, propolis and pollen cap at the top of every container have many health benefits on their own, and many folks pay good money for these individually in supplements. Here you'll receive these healthy substances in their original food as Nature intended. Being completely natural and raw, the color, fragrance and consistency will vary slightly over the seasons based on the bees' activities and local temperatures, and your honey may become more solid in colder weather, but will become more liquid with some warmth. In my opinion, having Really Raw Honey in your pantry is the next best thing to being a beekeeper. Recommended! ... show more
