The smell: At first I was prepared for the worst but when I opened it I hardly smelled anything! The realism: It's practically spot on. Silly me, didn’t notice the 1.5 inch top widens to 2 inches, so this was wider than expected. No problem. Definitely not silicone though, this sure feels like TPE and for the price that seems likely.

Cleans easily, not rough or has parts that hurt. Almost smooth, but not completely smooth, so it has texture to it. I bought it again in a lighter color, it was half a centimeter longer than the light brown one, but that's a normal production variance. As I've had one of these for a few years now, I like it better and better. I stick it to the shower wall, and ride it like crazy. Why I moved it from 4 to 5 star rating.
