Looks and feels like real grass! I purchased this so that I could turn my balcony into an outdoor space for my 8 week old puppy. I purchased the 5ft x 9ft roll and it was significantly less expensive than other brands. I wanted something that would look and feel like real grass and that would drain easily. You won’t believe how real this looks and feels! It includes very densely packed strands of various shades including tan/yellow (like real grass). My puppy loves to lay and play on it. My only complaint is that it does not drain very well. Liquid (in this case dog urine) just sits on top despite small drain holes in the underside. The product becomes fairly saturated and so once a week I have to pull it up and thoroughly clean it with a hose and then hang it to dry. It is also possible for pets to pull it up and pull the strands out from the back side so you will want to use a good carpet tape to hold it in place. ... show more

This product is great and durable! I order a 10FT x 15FT (150 sq ft) and received it in a 4FT x 4FT x 1.5FT box as the turf was not rolled, it was folded to fit in the box. My (150 sq ft) turf weighted at least 60 or 70 lbs. You will need a partner to help when moving and positioning the turf around if you are thinking about buying a big size. The base of the turf that holds the grass in place is tough, strong and durable which is a plus. I placed a weed barrier fabric down to avoid unwanted weeds, but I believe you might not even need to place a weed fabric down because the base of the turf is very strong and made very tightly as it is just enough for water to seep thru. Give this turf a try, I can tell this turf will last me many years. Also to mention as with any turf you will have to brush the turf occasionally to make the grass stand up if you or your pets walk on it a lot. Great buy! Durable and Strong! ... show more

We built the ramp years ago and put ½ inch pieces of wood every foot or so for traction, but as he aged he was slipping. I bought this to give my dogs a mud-free, snow free (when I shovel it) potty area. It was easy enough to put down but I wasn't too picky about how it looked considering the use so I got a few bubbles in there. I put weed block down first just to have another layer to block the mud. It definitely has a nap, which could probably fixed by putting some sand in it but I haven't bothered. The dogs like it and it should be easy to hose off. We have a large and excitable dog coupled with an aluminum picket fence. Whenever people would walk by, our dog had to let them know that he was displeased with them walking on "his" sidewalk. He would make circles on the grass as he barked, and eventually the grass in the corners where he stood got chewed up and went essentially down to the dirt. We decided to see if this artificial turf would work, and all I can say is that it is everything we had hoped it would be. When our lawn gets sufficient water, the artificial turf blends in beautifully. Additionally, it is holding up terrifically to the demonstrations of our dog. I will start by saying I never write reviews. But after installing this fake lawn on my nyc apt terrace - I felt like I needed to. I usually buy the cheap Astro turf type roll (I guess not so cheap at $70) but was feeling lazy so just ordered this here. Such a super nice high quality product that actually is thick and feel like real grass. I love it so much! Nothing like the cheap roll you’re used to. Only concern is that my dogs might think it’s ok to go here. But that’s my problem. Otherwise - you won’t regret it! ... show more
