I ordered two brushes from this brand, and this one (201) is my favorite. I use it the most out of all my brushes, especially for applying blush. It applies makeup very smoothly, and the quality is excellent. The bristles are very soft and feel gentle on the skin.     • Love this brush!
I love all of Real Techniques' brushes and this one is no exception. They are really soft, well made, and apply makeup really well. I use this to apply pressed powder because I don't like using the sponge it came with -- the brush applies a much lighter layer and blends it really well. Plus it just feel really nice on your skin -- so soft! If you haven't tried their brushes before, I definitely recommend them. They're an affordable alternative to the more expensive brushes. And I have other brushes by them that I've had for almost a year and they have held up really well. I typically wash my brushes once a week and I've washed this one several times and it still looks great. I don't find that the hairs come out on my face or that it sheds when I'm washing it, so it should last a long time. Most makeup brushes will last for years if you regularly clean them and treat them well. I use a textured cleaning glove and the Ecotools brush shampoo to clean this brush and it gets the powder and oil off nicely. Definitely recommend this brush! ... show more

I've had a few RT brushes 7+ yrs and have always liked them for their softness & practical usage. I saw some media reviews on this big brush and thought I'd buy it, surely the product have advance to softer bristles.... It's the same softness. Not disappointed basically. The end of handle part has changed from the old black ones that melted and messed up storage container & sticky on my hand. Now it's silicone and solved that problem. But the silicone is pink and the handle is copper in color so not sure I like that. But for the price. It's a good loose powder brush. Somehow I thought it'd be bigger fluffier from seeing the ad photos. Overall a good buy. ... show more

I purchased this brush to replace one from sephora that I haven't been able to use without the bristles falling out. So far I really love this one. It seems to be much better quality than my old one. It's nice and fluffy perfect for applying bronzer. I haven't had it long or used it too much, so I'm not sure how it'll hold up over time, but I expect it to be much better than my last one. I think the bristles on my old brush started falling out not too long after purchase. Definitely a good purchase! ... show more

I purchased this powder brush specifically because I love many other brushes and tools from this brand. It did not disappoint. It is very soft, it made my compressed bronzer go a long way with just one dab. It gives a very even application. I will wash the soft bristles with baby shampoo often, that seems to be the best way to cleanse and preserve the bristles of my brushes. Over the past year or so, I have become a huge fan of real Techniques face brushes. I have two expert face brushes, the stippling brush, the foundation brush and this powder brush. Prior to buying the powder brush, the expert face brush was by far my favorite of my real Techniques brushes; now, it is competing with the powder brush for the top spot! This brush is huge and fluffy, and SO soft on the skin. It works perfectly in applying a light layer of powder to the face. I use it as a setting powder. After I've put on my concealer and CC cream (I rarely wear full coverage foundation), I set my makeup with either the Almay Nearly Naked Loose Powder or the Bare Minerals Hydrating Mineral Veil. I have had several other brands of brushes drop hairs on my face, but I have never had a RT brush drop hairs. This is one of several reasons why I love them. Another is that they are synthetic and therefore cruelty free. Finally, because they are non-porous and therefore don't trap bacteria and such in the brush. Last year, I tried another inexpensive line of brushes and had to stop using all the face brushes in the set because they were constantly dropping hairs all over my face. I thought I'd never again try an expensive brush, until I heard about real Techniques. To get this kind of quality for that kind of price is quite simply, amazing. Do yourself a favor and add a real Techniques brush (or two) to your collection today! ... show more
