Description

With its patented easy-install design, Re-Grip provides a simple, economical method of replacing and enhancing a handle grip. It's as easy as "Slip It; Zip It and Re-Grip It". Re-Grip improves the handle grip on a variety of cylindrical and semi cylindrical objects such as hammers, wrenches, axes, picks, shovels, rakes, sports equipment, levers, flashlights, handlebars, automotive tools, wheelbarrows and more. Some of today's tools come with grips that are formed of soft material for comfort but they tend to fail before the tool breaks. Some grips are formed of a harder material to be more durable, but those grips generally sacrifice comfort. Replacement and supplementary grips are uncommon because handles come in a variety of shapes and sizes and because replacing a handle is generally a difficult process. Some replacement grips are available but they tend to be very specific to a particular handle and application. Others are cheap and difficult to install. Re-Grip helps prevent blisters and protects products against UV rays. It is easy to install and non-slip for better control and safety. It's so affordable you can re-grip just about everything.

  • Great product
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
I needed a grip for my pull-up bar and this product is perfect for it. The medium one fit nicely into the 1.10" bar... non slip, cushion, rigid, and looks very nice. The installation was a breeze... With a sharp razor blade, trimming off the excess is easy, but cutting a clean, nice edge wasn't that easy. It was about half inch longer after installed... So, you should start where a clean edge is desired. Despite the instruction, I lined up the grip so that the imprinted arrows pointed toward the middle of the bar, then slowly pulled the yellow plastic coil following the arrow direction while keeping the grip's edge flushing with the bar's edge... Very professional looking result! ... show more

  • Could be cheaper but crazy easy to put on
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
I debated spending the money on two of these for my wheelbarrow but man were they a breeze to put on. They fit perfectly and I had both in in under a minute. I've any reviews complaining about trouble installing them. A two year old could do this. And they seem to be good quality. Now at least I won't get splinters from those old handles. 🙂 ... show more

  • poor function, does not work with oval handles. minimal shrinkage
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
Hammer handles are mostly oval, my hammer handle is not a curved axe type but straight. since the handle is slightly bigger than the medium size product max handle diameter i had to use a firm push to make it go on, so it should be extra tight. but its loose, un usable loose. so unless you have a perfectly round handle of the max diameter dont waste your money . ... show more

  • Interesting Concept, Not Accurately Sized
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
This is a super innovative way to replace a handle and the installation was simple. However, the minimum handle size listed on the product is WAY off. The one we selected was suitable for handles 0.79-1.5" in diameter. The bar we needed the handle for is 1" so well within this range. We started to pull the yellow release tab and could tell immediately that it was not going to shrink down enough. We put the torn and cut-up old handle back on the bar along with wrapping the whole thing in electrical tape to add even more to the diameter and got the starting thickness up to 1.2". The "re-grip" handle just barely shrink to this 1.2" diameter. We'll see if it moves around a lot, but I'm hoping the friction from the electrical tape layer will help; the slick paint coating of the bar itself would likely not do well. From our experience, 1.2" is a more accurate minimum diameter if the handle bar surface has friction and thicker than that if you have a smooth/slick surface. ... show more

  • Great grip. Very durable. Turns hands black.
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
I bought this replacement grip to put on my walking stick. It was super easy to attach and it is the perfect thickness, softness, and long-wearing. My only complaint is that the grip turns my hands black. It washes off easily enough using soap and water with no "permanent" residue. It is just embarrassing to have "dirty-looking" hands between washings. Heres to hoping that the black will eventually stop transferring to my hands. ... show more

  • One of my all time favorite gizmos--buy two
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
These are great, with a lot if different uses. Super tough. Super easy to apply. Be warned--once you've started applying it, you won't be able to adjust the placement. That being said, BUY TWO because they're very affordable and if you're happy with the placement of the first one then your bound to find a use for the spare in the future. Else, if you don't like the placement of the first, then you can cut it off and redo with the second. Application tip: The first time I used one was for replacing the end grip on a fiberglass shovel handle that I shortened for use in my Jeep. Following the application instructions--pull release strip away from the end of handle--resulted in me having about 2-in of excess rubber tube hanging off the end because the grip stretches in the direction of pull as you collapse the support tube. Instead, pull it in the reverse direction--towards the other end of the handle, in my case the shovel head--so that you can control the exact placement at the end of the handle. See photo for perfect end placement using this method. ... show more

  • Ingenious!
Size: 0.79-1.5 inch
As a photographer I had a monopod that originally came with a foam grip. After a couple of years it started to split so I used a role of gaffers tape to keep it together. Looked like cheap fix but it worked. I saw REGRIP on a YouTube video from the recent SEMA show in LV. Once I saw it demonstrated I had to order one to replace the one I tried to repair on my monopod. I removed the old grip and slid the REGRIP (medium) on. You slide it over and then start pulling the plastic tab to pull out all the plastic in one long spiral. Application was amazing. Looks just like it was an original part. Fits tight and doesn’t slip. It’s not the original foam grip but this rubber grip looks and works great! ... show more
