Description

Most RDS transfer tanks also provide auxiliary fueling. RDS offers a full assortment of tanks in various capacities and dimensions to fit your needs. Auxiliary tanks connect to your vehicle’s fuel tank. Diesel fuel can “gravity feed” from the bottom of your RDS tank. An optional Diesel Install Kit contains the necessary items to economically and easily connect your RDS tank to your OEM fuel tank. Gasoline auxiliary fueling is allowed, if siphoned from the top of the tank by using an electric fuel pump.

The tool box fuel tank combo is well built . It was easy to install with the kit for my 2003 Ford F-250. I sealed all the threads with permatex to prevent water from getting the tank. It was shipped UPS in a cardboard box that covered most of the tool box. The mounting brackets where bent badly during shipping. I had to use a pry bar to open the tool box lid due to the rough handling. The box was totally out of square. But with everything being made of aluminum it was easy to bend everything back to its proper shape. Very poor packaging !!! ... show more

Great Idea, and would have been a great addition to the truck. Packaging was poor, had to return, was too damaged from transportation to use. :(

    • Nice product but be sure your pump has a flange on it for mounting purposes.
The packaging was pretty beat up but after careful inspection the tank looked fine. I had an older tank that needed to be replaced but when I tried to put the old pump on this new tank it would not fit due to the fact that the pump could not be screwed into the tank because of no turning room. I purchased a new pump that had a flange on the neck and it is now working perfectly. ... show more

    • It works just like it should
It works just like it should. I use it for off-road diesel in my construction equipment. I like the lower profile than the bigger tanks, and have an electric pump on it that makes filling up easy.
