All the material is pretty Flexible and elastic I'm hoping that the small isn't a huge difference but I'm going to have to send these back in order a small... I love these pants. As an avid birdwatcher I spend hours on a mountain in all kinds of weather and these pants have kept me warm and dry. The only thing I want to emphasize is that some reviews state they run big. Unfortunately, because of those reviews I ordered a small instead of a medium which I normally get. I am 5’4” and 125 pounds and the small is too tight. I didn’t want to bother sending them back so I just leave them unbuttoned, but will definitely size up on the next pair!
