I bought this set for the combo bullet seater/crimper. It works well to set the bullets and crimp the case into the bullet crimp groove. I have reloaded the same brass many times with no evidence of wear from first flaring and then crimping the case end.

Make sure to read the instructions to adjust correctly and use case lube. The deprimer has smoother operation compared to the lee and a multiple component depriming rod. The bullet seat inside the die compared to the lee bullet seater certainly grabs more of the bullet and will lead to more consistent seating. I am using a lee factory crimp die to keep seating and crimping separate. ... show more

Just got these on 4/15/16, and I've already formed over 200 cases. Works as advertized. Since it't my first and only 300 BLK die set i have nothing to compare it to, but it works just fine so far. I'm using the DIY case lube (lanolin & heet- search youtube for it) and it was super easy to form the new cases. added on 5/12: used the sizing die to form 223/556 cases into 300BLK cases, and it's worked great for that. Can't imagine any other die working any better. The seating die work great as well, do not use the crimp feature, as I will be using an separate crimping die for that, as I do that with my 223/556 rounds. RCBS makes a quality product. I've loaded several hundred rounds already with this die set and they feed perfectly as expected. The small base dies resize the case smaller than SAAMI specs to ensure feeding in ARs and other semiauto rifles and these do it well.
