  • Very well made
This scooter is very sturdy

  • Works well for my 8yrold
I was a little worried about how this would work down our packed gravel driveway but we have had no problems. My daughter practiced in the grass and had no issued and now goes up and down the driveway no problem. The battery lasts somewhere around an hour which has been enough for us.

  • Super FUN Scooter!
I bought two of these for my girls (9 and 12) for Christmas and they LOVE them. They had the normal razor scooters for the past three years or so. These are their first real motorized toys since the Barbie jeep they had when they were three. These get good speed. They are easy enough that I would put my mom on it. The heavier you are, the slower they go. My nine year old can definitely outrun me. Yes, I joyride on these whenever I get a chance! I live in a neighborhood where we have a common dumpster. Until these came in my life, that task was a complete drag. Now taking out the trash is FUN!!! This scooter is super fun. It holds the charge well and goes for MILES. I highly recommend. ... show more

  • My Son Loves It
My son is happy so I am happy. It’s pretty heavy, but is otherwise perfect. My son has been riding it daily. There was slight issue getting the handle bar tightened enough to not turn which was kind of annoying

  • Assemble 24hrs before use
The product itself is amazing! The scooter is VERY fast and VERY simple to construct. The materials are great quality and the tires hold up well on both asphalt, "blacktop" pavement and driveways. Gave a 3/5 on battery life as the batteries that shipped with the scooter were bad out of the box. The replacement process was probably the most simple customer service experience in my life. I contacted Razor USA, gave them the identifier and the batteries arrived within 7 business days. Replacing the batteries was also simple, and instructions were provided and clear. My son loves it! It was a bit too fast for his comfort, so we have purchased a seat for him to make him more comfortable with the speed. Well worth the money! ... show more

  • Off to a rough start
I'm going to start off with a 1 star review. We'll see how Razor handles this. If you are ordering for Christmas, I think this is really relevant. If you - after reading this - agree then mark it as helpful so others can see as well. I ordered two of these from Amazon and they came a little slower than usual for prime, but arrived on Monday morning. I carried them up above the garage and they appeared to be unmolested. Tonight I went up and unboxed them, inspected them and put the handlebars on. I've already noticed a problem with the routing of the wiring going past the front tire that will need some zip ties to make sure it doesn't rub on one of them. Nothing spectacular, just make sure you check. They also both appear to need some air in the tires. I figured I would charge them before trying to air them up. All the paperwork says CHARGE them 12 hours first thing. Then I plugged them in to the chargers. I noticed right away that one of the chargers is glowing red, indicating it is charging. The other charger is glowing green, indicating a full charge. So I swapped them to see if maybe one battery was somehow sent fully charged. Nope, the same one is glowing green on the other scooter too. And the one that was charging the first scooter, is now charging the second scooter. And I'm praying I haven't somehow screwed up the charging cycles on the things because I had intended to leave them both charging all night together as they should. I have opened a ticket with Razor online because they are closed at 8:30pm EST and there is no chat or phone contact available right now. I will be interested to see what they do and how quickly. I realize this isn't the biggest thing that could happen, but when you are spending nearly $400 on two scooters (including an insurance plan which may be worthless) it is kind of frustrating to deal with this and worry that you might be not charging the scooters exactly as instructed when you had set out to follow the instructions exactly. I also realize we are talking about the $5 charger that is failed, but hey - don't they do quality control anymore? No, I doubt it - they didn't with this anyway. So why do I think this is important? What if you are the person who waits until Christmas eve to put this together. And you start to charge your scooter. And if you only had one... You wouldn't have Christmas. You'd have a dead scooter. I'm hoping that i haven't done any harm to the batter charging regimen. But I do have a charger that hopefully will survive double duty for a couple of days while they ship me (hopefully?) a new one. If they don't, then I'll go to Toys R Us and buy a new one, and then send this one back. Maybe THAT would make them think about QC? I'm really not the type of person who likes to do that sort of thing though, I'd rather have just gotten a working charger when I paid for it. Like I said, if they handle it well, I'll come back and update it based on how we end up liking the scooters. But we aren't "rich" and this is kind of their big present this year and it is frustrating to have it "not right" to start off with. ... show more

  • Super fun, super useful, but a wee bit awkward.
I'm a grown woman - about 130 lbs - and I use this for part of my commute cuz I'm lazy as heck. All told, I love this thing! It's really fun to ride around on and I get compliments on it everywhere I go (and I know those people are so jealous lol). However, I have noticed a few things that one might want to know about ahead of time. These aren't really even problems, which is why I'm not docking the product any stars for them - just information that I figure would be good for buyers to have: 1) The throttle doesn't really have a variable speed; it's pretty much just on or off, so when you let go of the throttle, be prepared to lurch a bit as the engine will rather suddenly stop, drastically slowing your roll (unless you're going downhill). Sometimes the same goes for starting - if the conditions are right, it may try to take off from under you if you aren't prepared for a sudden increase in speed. 2) In the description it says speeds up to 12 mph. Thus far I've topped out at about half that (6 mph, as in 1 mile in ten minutes). I have only been riding in the winter so far though, and that speed is what I got on "warmer" (40s F) days - on really cold (20-30s F) days I get to about 4 mph (1 mile in 15 minutes). So I suspect I'll get higher speeds in the spring and summer. And of course I'm assuming someone who weighs less, or isn't routinely carrying 10 lbs of computer with them, will get higher speeds. 3) Be very aware of how low to the ground this bad boy is. Slow down for speed bumps or you'll bottom out, and be aware of bumps in the road/sidewalk. 4) Allow yourself plenty of time to slow down for stops. It's got a brake, but if you try to brake too quickly it'll throw you more readily than a bike will (but you'll probably just clumsily jump off, rather than flying over the handle bars). 5) It is heavier than it looks and pretty awkward to carry. Just keep that in mind if you're going to be doing a lot of transferring like I do (getting it onto and off of city buses, carrying it up and down stairs). ... show more
