This scooter has been absolutely outstanding. It has been on several trips and has taken all kinds of trauma and drama like a champ. We replaced the handles on it last year after too much abuse. I am typing this now while we are at a park and mini me is scooting around the park while I sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Life is good and this scooter is definitely a good choice for a bigger kid or even an adult. I purchased it originally on the recommendation of an adult that is 5'10" who said that she rode around on her kids scooter and let me try it out. The media could not be loaded. Excellent scooter! Bought for our 8 year old son. He ridden it almost everyday since we gave it to him back in October 2022. He was never able to confidently balance on small wheel scooter, and he tipped forward too easily in the 3-wheeled micro kick board scooters. But this scooter, he has been able to cruise around since first stepping on it. It’s weight and large wheels help keep it on the ground.
