I have dabbled into some Razer products recently and I am very impressed with the quality. Surprisingly for none of the gaming related products, though. After recently buying the Razer Ergo keyboard, and the two new editions of the Pro Click Mice, I wanted to see what the Razer Joro would offer. It is small, and a perfect form factor for traveling. I tend to keep it with me in my EDC bag with a Microsoft Surface Pro. The lighting is decent, and some solid RGB. I am not really in it for that. Mostly, mines is for quick typing and meetings while in the vehicle or traveling. I am a mechanical keyboard guy but the typing experience is not bad. There is some tactility to it. Not so much that you're thinking you're typing on a Lofree or anything like that; obviously different kind of switch. But it is still effective for a day's work. Honestly, its pretty decent, back and key lighting is good and keyboard rest with your fingers are solid. The size is slim to carry with you (size of the Steam Deck in comparison for width) However, when you try to press the enter button, you might accidentally press the Up button which is not a huge deal, it’ll just put your typing indicator to the front of whatever it is your typing. ... show more

Eh, it's fine I guess. I got this mainly because its quiet and my wife can't stand my mechanical reds clacking all night. I thought with razer this would be more gaming focused but it's kinda generic. Sure, it feels well built and is really thin, but if you are after performance, look elsewhere. The lack of per key lighting is my biggest gripe at this price point though. ... show more

This is finally the keyboard that I truly enjoy. I have orders of magnitude fewer typos on this versus others that I have tried from at least half a dozen different manufacturers. I don't use it for gaming on my main rig; I have a Razer Tartarus for that. Before this one I had a Huntsmen Mini TE, a Steel Series keyboard, a Logitech G19, and several other - this one is my favorite for typing on by far. The RGB isn't adressable per key, just one size fits it all sort of RGB. Battery lasts me a week with daily use of at least 2 hours a day. I set the Synapse software to make it turn the lighting off after 3 minutes of no use, and 5 minutes into low-power mode after 5 minutes of no use. I was a little worried that the right shift key was too small, but it is in the perfect spot for my hands to hit every time I go to capitalize a letter. Same with the spacebar. I was worried it wasn't wide enough but my right thumb lands on it every time. It's build pretty solidly. The switches aren't loud AT ALL, but they do give some feedback when you press them, which is a perfect combination for me while typing - nice for when I'm in a call for work or in a meeting. The frame is very sturdy, and it weighs more than you'd think based on just looking at the size. The bluetooth connects in seconds after it goes into sleep mode. I ended up getting in the habit unintentionally to wake it up by pressing the spacebar, in a couple of seconds it's reconnected to my desktop via bluetooth. ... show more

My initial impression of the keyboard was good. But I did find the spacebar key small. And I absolutely HATE all this "Copilot" "AI" nonsense. So the fact that this keyboard has a shorter spacebar to make room for that regarded "Copilot" key is an immediate -1 star. I probably could have gotten used to the smaller spacebar. I installed their software. Updated the firmware. Disabled the regarded RGB color changing BS and set a static red color. All good. Then I locked my PC. As soon as you lock your PC, the device's built in RGB profile kicks in and it starts cycling colors. ABSOLUTELY REGARDED! Why couldn't those regards at Razer just made the default something simple and plain like solid white. No. The default is an RGB light show. And there is no way to change this. PC logged in and the keyboard is exactly as you set it. Lock PC and the regarded, MiG15 light show starts. I am returning this. ... show more

It's a good try at a gaming keyboard that has low-press height. Wooting spent a lot of effort to counteract the main problem, how far you have to press a key. But a mechanical fix is best. However this keyboard has a few annoyances: First the F keys don't shine through, so in a dark room you can't tell the F keys apart. Second, it would be better if there was some sort of tactile (but silent) feedback the key was bottomed out Third, I wish it came in a slightly larger format so it could be used more easily for daily work vs just gaming. The only thing comparative is the Corsair K100 air, and it has the opposite annoyances - very loud click, and keys are too far apart (even compared to a full size mac keyboard) ... show more

Expensive, yes. However, totally worth it! If you enjoy low profile keyboards or laptop keyboards, then this keyboard is for you. The wireless connectivity works seamless with my laptop, however for best results I would connect to razer synapse. Comes with impressive keyboard lighting, which is always a nice touch. The keys have just enough of a tactile bump to not feel too shallow. The keyboard feels very similar to older Razer Blade 14 laptops 2012 through 2015 years range. Best Windows keyboard I've ever had, and I am picky! All flat, low travel, good feel, quieter than most. The flat keycaps and low travel make you faster at pressing and switching between keys, which is good for typing and gaming. Contrary to what's stated in the manual, the F keys default to their "media" functions. Changing this requires installing Razer Synapse. For me, this is a minor issue (don't want their bloatware oozing all over my computer). But it's not a big deal. In short: finally someone made a keyboard I can actually use. ... show more
