I have a meta quest headset so I have some experience with VR but this is my first experience with an AR product. Immediately I noticed that these glasses are super light they are heavier than normal glasses but no where near as heavy as any VR headset you don't need any strap to keep them in place and you don't feel the uncomfortable front heavy weight when wearing them. As far as the VR comparison these glasses don't have any tracking capabilities so it's basically just a screen I'd think of them as a very high quality external monitor that you can take with you and have complete privacy. The headset itself fit my face fairly well but seems to be even more comfortable for people with smaller features luckily the nose clip that is what supports most of the weight is fairly adjustable with three positions I do recommend you completely remove the nose clip and mold it to your nose shape you can bend the sides inwards or outwards depending on the shape of your nose so you get a really good fit. The glasses themselves only work when connected to your device via the USB c cable the cable was a little annoying at first but you quickly become used to it. They are powered by your device so they can quickly drain your devices battery my Samsung s23+ was able to watch a few hours of content before my phone warned me of low battery. As far as content movies look amazing on this screen and the speakers sound much better than I expected. The edges of the screen are always a little out of view and text gets progressively blurry as it moves from the center. Text in general is very fuzzy and no matter how I adjusted the angle and position of the glasses I could never get a clear image on text so I wouldn't really recommend these for reading or productivity.     • Great glasses. Unfortunately doesn't work for me
Very bright and nice image when you can see it clearly. You'll need prescription add-on in you're near-sighted first of all. if both of your eyes can see everything clearly, then these might work well for u. Part of the image on each side seems to be a blurry (for that eye) and need the other eye to see that part clearly so your brain can adjust and ignore the blurry side. Unfortunately for me my left eye can't see everything clearly because of a surgery so some part of the screen is always blurry for me. and for some reason the image on the sides and bottoms are always blurry so I can't read the icons/text clearly in Samsung DEX mode when they are close to the bottom. I decided to not spend extra bucks to get prescription addons for further testing and returned them. Very unfortunate since i like the virtual screen functions when connected to the PC but the same thing with blurry bottom (can't seem Windows menu bar/icons clearly). I'm still giving 4 stars since i believe they would be great for someone else with better eyesight. ... show more

    • Feels like it is close to greatness but misses the mark.
I've been wanting AR Glasses since the Nreal (Xreal now) came out but they were too expensive. I got a 185 dollar gift card to amazon for work so finally I decided to get a pair. I landed on these due to them being cheaper and because of the promise in the email of the fist 100 people getting the Switch dock accessory. (More on that later). Visually it looks good, and it's comfortable. The bottom of the screen is blurry though. No matter how I adjust it, the bottom is blurry. It's like it needs to be 1mm -2mm bigger across the whole bottom. Audio quality is decent, but tiny. But that's to be expected in this form factor style of course, so that's not being held against it. Looks wise on the outside, I wish they had a rim and looked less "futuristic" looking, and more normal like the Xreal, but that can't be helped. The big cons for me are the blurry bottom, and the promised switch accessory to the first one hundred people. I ordered right when it went live, and there's no mention of it. No "You'll get one!" or "You won't be getting one". And their support is hard to find a way to contact , all I can find is a general number, so I don't think I will be getting one or hearing about it. Also, another big con, the Xreal came with a hard case, this comes with a pouch that is very thin. For the price I feel like it should come with a hard case. I like them for watching movies and steam deck, switch support I can't test obviously. But I don't know if I'll keep them yet or exchange them for Xreal or another brand. Time will tell, as I have 30 days to exchange them if I don't like them more over time. ... show more
