  • High quality GaN charger
This charger is great! It's pretty compact, being fairly small and having a folding plug. It's surprisingly heavy for its size, which makes me feel like it's good quality. The max output holds up to the claims, being able to effectively charge my Macbook Pro and can also super fast charge my Samsung phone. I believe that given the quality product you get for $30 (at time of writing), this is a great value for the price. ... show more

  • Great charger with one strange quirk
This is great charger overall and quite compact for the output it is capable of, thanks to GaN technology. Please notice that full 65W are only dispensed if single USB-C port is used at a time, otherwise the wattage for each one drops since 65W is the total. It worked well to charge 3 devices at a time during my recent Cancun trip. The only strange quirk I noticed is that if one of the devices is added or disconnected, there is momentary power interruption to all of the connected devices. You will see cell phone screens light up as a result, for example. This is probably due to the way electronic circuit works. The power is restored immediately, so the only reason to worry about it is in case of, for example, Apple Ipad that was powered off after being connected to the charger and will power on as a result of power interruption and restoration when another device is connected or disconnected. There is no light that stays on when the device is plugged in, which is unusual in comparison to other GaN chargers, but may actually be an advantage if you do not want light at night in your bedroom (my kid was asking me to cover the light on another charger during the trip as it was preventing him from falling asleep). Would order again. ... show more

  • Unclear information regarding wattage output per port with multiple devices
To be clear, I like the design and compactness of the charger and that it is capable of 65W output. However, it is unclear if your get 65W out of all three ports and/or whether the device divvies up the charge between the various ports when you have more than one device attached. For not having clear information in the packaging (or online), I have to take off one star. You can see the charger on the right in the attached photo compared to two other 65W chargers I have. All three use GaN technology, so I'm assuming they behave similarly. The Charger in the center (MOKIN) only has one USB-C port, so it no doubt gets the entire 65W output (if the device being charged can receive that much). The charger on the left (SISYPHY) also has 3 ports (two USB-C and one USB-A), same as the RAYCON charger being evaluated, but the packaging and on-line information clearly states that the 65W is divvied up between the ports in there are one, two, or 3 devices being charged. It also shows how the power is distributed in various scenarios. Both the RAYCON and SISYPHY cost about the same and have nearly identical weight. There are obvious differences in the shape of the device. The RAYCON is thinner and shorter but wider. So, in summary, the RAYCON charger under evaluation is a solid and compact charger capable of high power output to charge demanding devices (such as my Surface Pro 9 computer). However, they need to be more clear as to whether all that power is delivered when multiple devices are attached. I should point out that I like the thinner design because it has a smaller footprint on my surge protected strip outlet. ... show more

  • Excellent multi-port charger
This charger can quickly and readily charge multiple devices. It’s fast, but not the fastest charger that I’ve tested. Both my S23+ and my ear buds case charged quicker when connected to one of the charger’s USB-C ports than when connected to its USB-A port. Like all of the fast chargers that I’ve tested, this charger is bulkier and heavier than regular chargers. Fortunately, its electrical prongs fold in to save space. It can handle both 120v and 240V along with both 50Hz and 60 Hz. This charger states that it was designed in the USA but made in China. There’s no evidence of UL certification. This is a solid charger. I’m very happy with it; no complaints. ... show more

  • Great travel charger, would be nice to know how much output each port has
I ordered this Raycon charger for my partner since I have a very similar 65W one from a different brand and this Raycon is just as capable and practical. We were able to charge an iPad and an iPhone at the same time and at full speed. This charger is going to be great for traveling since we'll be able to charge multiple devices at one without sacrificing charging speed and without having to look for multiple power outlets. I am taking one star off, though, because nowhere in the product description does it say how much max output each port has, or how power would be distributed among ports if multiple dives are plugged simultaneously. Some clarification on that would be great, and it would let users maximize the product's utility. For reference, the other 65w 3-in-1 charger I have does have this information available and I personally find it quite useful. Update: it appears that the seller has added information as to how power is disbursed among the three ports, and what each port's max output is. Accordingly, I am adding the missing star to this fantastic product. ... show more

  • Great travel charger
I have charged numerous types of devices (phones, tablets, watches, headphones, laptops, DACs, etc.) and have not had any issue yet. Everything has charged pretty rapidly. Connecting and disconnecting devices causes a momentary break in power. I guess this is due to limits on power delivered to each port when you have multiple devices connected. SO it must change when you connect or disconnect a device. This isn't a huge issue as I am not actively using a device when I am connecting or disconnecting another. It never got too hot. At least not any worse than any other gan charger I have used. All in all it is a great charger and compact enough to travel with. ... show more
