The Cats series was hot fashion back in the 1980s and many frames from that series are now timeless classics such these aviators. Of course the origins of the aviator go much further back than the '80s. These frames are oversized so you have to be ok with that look or feel that a larger frame fits with your own proportions. The acetate frames can be adjusted by eyeware professionals and are one piece unlike wire frame aviators. The Light Havana color is a mock tortoise shell and looks good by itself and very good against warmer skin tones. I cannot comment on the lens characteristics here as I have prescription lenses installed in my pair. Want to be one of the "Boys of Summer?" Christen yourself with a pair of these! ... show more

NO Sun reduction what so ever. I think these are just designed to be some kind of fashion statement, since they absolutely are Not Sunglasses! There is an ever so light amber tint to the top portion of the lenses, but 95% clear for the bottom half. These do Not reduce glare, bright Sun or reflections from water. I actually think they make it brighter! The frames do not fit the lenses well, and allow a bright ring around the edge of the lenses. Please don’t buy these thinking they reduce Sun or bright environments, they Do Not! I can not believe Rat Ban would make such crap. I fly Airline aircraft, and these are completely useless and have Nothing to offer as an Aviator eye protection. ... show more
