I bought these sunglasses as my first quality pair of sunglasses. Packaging/ Presentation: The sunglasses came in a protective, vinyl, felt lined holder/ case. The case was in a cardboard box and that box was in another cardboard box with bubble packs. In the case was also a Ray-Ban info book and a microfiber cleaning cloth. Product: The sunglasses are of very high-quality and I believe they are authentic Ray-Bans. They look and feel great. The lenses are polarized and moderately dark. They are great for driving, playing and other activities. I have a smaller face, and sometimes wear junior/ youth frames as they fit better on my face. These frames fit my face great and I like the way I look in them. Overview: These glasses are great. These are my first quality, not middle of the mall, sunglasses. It was important to me to buy from an authorized retailer to ensure integrity of the product I was receiving and to ensure warranty. These glasses were priced the best I could find and came fast with Prime shipping. They look great on a smaller face and feel great. It's tough to find a good pair of sunglasses. After going years with cheap $20 pairs, I decided to look for a good upgrade and spend a bit extra. Well, this pair is near flawless. Great design - a lens that's large enough to not bother your peripheral vision, yet not too large to cover up your face. The sides are thick, so you get a bit of privacy from people viewing you from the side (i.e. when you take a nap on the bus.) Also, something to note is the way it sits on your face, obviously there are different shaped faces, but for me, the glasses sit far enough away so it doesn't press on your cheeks when you move your mouth or smile. The contact points are the sides of the ear and bridge of the nose - perfect. They also have a nice green tint to them, very subtle and providing a good amount of shading. They're also polarized, which adds to the cost, but increases the benefit. They also come with a large case, a little minus because it's so large, but they're specifically made for these so they won't get bent or crushed. It is with great regret that I write this review while shopping for new sunglasses. I owned these for around three years, and just lost them. These were the best glasses I've ever had. Maybe I just have the perfect sized face and head for them, but it's like they were custom made for me. The wrap lenses covered all of my peripheral vision, almost never slipped down my nose, and they never fell off. Plus they're light-weight and comfortable. I never had an issue with build quality, they were like new when I lost them. Of course the polarized lenses are great. I have Ray Ban aviators and Wayfarers, as well as some Oakleys and Vuarnets, but these are the ones I always wore, mostly because all of the others would let bright sunlight through my peripheral vision, which bothers me. So I just ordered a pair of RB4189s to change things up a bit, but I'm confident I will buy another pair of these eventually. ... show more

    • Not glass lenses as advertised, but plastic.
Well I had never had a pair of expensive glasses before. The ad read "glass lenses", just what I wanted for the durability. When they arrived they were plastic. I contacted the seller to send me ones with glass and he informed me that they did not come in glass. I explained that the ad was very misleading. The end result after much negotiation was that he sent me a pair of extra plastic lenses which will last me quite a long time I hope. It was a lot of effort on my part and three weeks after the original purchase the listing still says "glass". It is beyond me as to why that is. Ian also a seller of items on Amazon and if anything was misleading on my products, I would correct right away. ... show more

    • My favorite sunglasses of all time
I am on my third pair of these things and not because they don't last but because they do. I love that they are narrow on your face, but still have room for a wider nose. The bridge of my nose is kind of wide but my face is narrow, so I love these. I have bought 3 pairs over the last like 7 years and mainly because for years I didn't even protect them and they still held up. I finally decided to buy a case and use it since I am on my third pair, but they held up nicely for me not treating the first two pairs very well at all. They spent time at the bottom of my purse a lot. They are really comfortable sunglasses and work well in multiple situations. They also never go out of style go with everything.     • Cheap Plastic lens that scratched in less than 2 months
I bought these RayBan sunglasses after having the same pair for over 10yrs with no issues. I buy these new and in less than 2 months, they have a scratch in the center of the lens. The plastic is much cheaper/thinner than my old pair. I am very careful with my sunglasses and they are in a case whenever I'm not wearing them. Very disappointed!! ... show more
