Classic aviator style Ray-Bans which, while expensive, are really nice quality sun glasses. The sun protection from these and my other non-polarized Ray Bans is noticeable in direct sunlight. Was sitting out on a roof deck last week with these and the sun directly beaming on me which no discomfort. This comes with an additional accessory kit that includes a repair tool, cleaning spray and a soft cloth all in its own case in addition to a separate case for storing the sun glasses. The kit is a really nice little addition for keeping the glasses maintained. If I had one complaint it would be that the ear pieces are really thing, almost like wire. Although they have not been an issue, they feel like they'd be really easy to accidentally bend. Again, minor complaint but not something that really bothers me but I feel like I need to always put these back in their case, a good practice probably anyways. Ultimately I'm really pleased with these, they look great and the sun protection is excellent. Expensive, but if you're shopping Ray-Bans you probably expect that.

I've worn these for a few hours for driving and for long walks and other outdoor activities as well. I like them. Some years ago, my ophthalmologist recommended that, when outside during daylight hours, I protect my eyes from UV light. These Ray-Ban aviators conform to the UV400 standard which means they block 100% of all UVA and UVB radiation. They are lightweight - 0.75oz. on my kitchen/postage scale. They are also very comfortable despite not having the spring hinges which I usually find indispensable in my sunglasses. No red marks or sliding down on my nose, no irritation behind my ears. One area where I find that many sunglasses disappoint in in light blocking ability with regard to peripheral vision. These are excellent in this regard. The frame meets the brow ridge above, the lens wraps around the sides of the eyes and it has ample height to make an excellent light seal with the cheekbones below. They kept my eyes comfortable during a 40-minute walk on a sunny day and another one on an overcast day. But the 64-dollar question, or I guess the 200-dollar question, is are they worth the price when you can get a difficult to distinguish knock-off for 20 dollars. Though they do have some important positive points like optical glass lenses with anti-reflective coatings and metal frames and a 2-year warrantee, much of the argument comes down to craftsmanship: they are made, supposedly, like fine jewelry with each pair taking 2 hours to manufacture and using only the best materials. Or it could just be their iconic status. Your call.

The glasses are great but within a week of getting them the case is broken beyond repair. Buy a pair without a case and buy a good case to go with them.

I have had many pairs of Ray-Bans in my life and have loved every one of them. This one is not an exception. The classic aviator frame is lightweight and comfortable to wear all day, and blocks the sun well. These lenses seem a little thinner and lighter than my other pair, which makes them feel better on my face. I like the black on black of this pair, but I think I actually prefer the classic neutral green G-15 better than the black lenses. Really, my only issue with Ray-Bans is the price. They have really gotten expensive over the years.

This is the first pair of Ray-Ban Sunglasses I have owned. I am not a total cheapskate, but I look for value and usually do not buy the most expensive item available. When these sunglasses arrived, I placed them on my face and they fit like a custom glove. The wire rims were beautiful, and the hinges close and open like a precision instrument. The lenses are light and manufactured so precisely that there is no distortion, even the peripheral vision was clear! I wore these glasses for about 2 hours the other day without any discomfort. I was sitting in my front yard yesterday, and my neighbor's son was walking the dog, and as he passed he shouted "what cool sunglasses"! I must confess that I really like these Ray-Ban Sunglasses when I thought I would just consider them Ok. They are the best Sunglasses I have owned. A plus is the leather case, and the included eye wear kit.

I got these for my BF who thought he wanted a pair but it turns out that not everyone can pull off a Tom Cruise. They are great glasses but they are made for people with much smaller heads than my BF. He felt that they were to big for his head over all but I think mostly he bought into the desire to look cool not realizing it requires more than a pair of sunglasses. The kit comes with lots of extras but even with all the extras I found these to be expensive. I get it though. Your paying for the name and "The need for speed". These will fill that need to play volleyball in the sand without a shirt.

So my worry with these was that they’d be counterfeit or not. The QR code on the box doesn’t take you to a Ray Ban registration page or anything which concerned me, so I went through all the various verification steps. I think the problem with the QR code is a bend in the label that messed up the search… In the end, these definitely seem like the real deal - quality is good and the accessories provided are spot on. My daughter loves the aviator style of glasses but always buys cheap ones - I’m hoping she’ll be as impressed as I am with these (and take good care of them).
