My son swung a Rawlings Big Stick Birch 110 33" bat for almost 3 summer league seasons. That thing hit bomb after bomb. Several of his teammates loved it so much that they used his bat instead of their own. It's a balanced, stiff, powerful bat when you square up the ball. My son personally hit many home runs with it. Of course, it eventually broke. Any wood bat will break on hard contact down towards the handle or at the very end of the barrel. If you can't tolerate that, don't play in a wood bat league. For the money, Rawlings' Big Stick Birch 110 is one of the best choices in baseball for a quality wood bat. ... show more

This one hits home, home plate that is. 😜 Ok I’ll resist the urge to do more puns. 😂 But in all honesty, I actually really like Rawlings as a bat brand. I don’t buy it exclusively, as there are other great options too. This bat preformed well, felt great in the hands and held up to numerous batting cages, practices and adult league games. Then the inevitable day came…swwwiinnngggg … *crack* … “F***!” It died a hero though. 🌟 (Side Note: Cracked in an unusual way.) ... show more

If I could leave less stars I would. Purchased the bat used it a week later during practice, it touched a total of 4 balls before completely splitting. Amazon said they cannot do anything, Rawlings says wood bats do not have any warranty because they are likely to break and sometimes on just the first hit. This I13 Rawlings wood bat has been great so far! The grain is nice and it has performed well on mishits. It feels a little more end loaded than some of my other i13s but I think there is variability between brands and their cut of i13s.
