Bat chipped on first use. Rawlings said it Mets warranty and my new bat would ship in early June (correspondence happened in May). It’s now July 20 and I have not received the replacement and they are no longer returning emails.

We bought this bat for our Son, for he plays travel baseball. He has 100% loved ever since he got his ICON. It sure is well worth the money, spot one for the size, weight of the bat, and hold up very well especially when it is tossed on the ground when he is up to bat. Bat is a beauty. Looks even better in person. I will say, you can definitely tell that the walls on this bat are thin... As a result, this bat has great pop! I would recommend limiting this bat to strictly games and in warm weather only. Find another bat for BP and cooler weather to be safe.

Bat looks nice. Grip is nice. But for anyone 8u or older, get a different bat. Stings the hands easily and doesn't have enough mass to hit with any authority. Maybe a decent choice for trevally or a very weak kid but if your kid is average strength or more, find something else. For example, an easton speed usssa -11 is outperforming this easily in the hands of my 7 year old. The speed is only like $50, too. ... show more
