It works when filling 1 or 6 cones but you still need to use a packing stick to make sure it is being filled with no gaps. I do it in 3 stages to make sure they are filled completely.

The papers slip down in the holder It seems to be more about the thin papers that go with the holder though. You can't pack your tobacco tight without the paper going down inside the holder, so it was a waste of time and money for me.

I can’t roll very well, so this device makes quick work out of filling one to six prerolled RAW 1-1/4 cones. Grind the flower (I use a rechargeable electric grinder)stir it up to fluff it and separate clumps. Put the cones in the holes. If you want 1-3 cones you slide the guard to expose up to three holes. If you want six you take the guard off. You cannot make 4 or 5 because of the configuration of the device. Place cover on the device and tap it on a hard surface 10 times or more. The more you tap the tighter the pack. Use a poker or tamper to top off the cones before removing them. Place the filler on the cap to push the cones up for easy removal. Tamp and twist to finish them. Saves money on pre-rolled smokes. ... show more
