I don't know any teenager less a six year old that can put this puzzle together. I am an educated person who spent hours putting this puzzle together with lots of frustration. This is the second one I purchased for myself. The first time I put it together by just looking at the pictures. In the end I had to finish the last of it by the numbers. My mom wanted it so I ordered the globe two more, one for me and one for my nephew who is 9 years old. I asked for it to be delivered to his house as a gift but it was sent to me so he has to pick it up. He is very intelligent so I will have to see how that works. I am beginning to put my second one by using the numbers. I am not starting out good, but I will see how that works. I do love the finished project. My review is for the globe puzzle. I think it's overpriced because its smaller than anticipated. It's very easy to assemble because of the specific numbers with directions on each piece. It's made out of plastic so it's durable. Assembled globe is pretty small and almost impossible to read those tiny letters on it. But my 9 y.o really likes it anyway. ... show more

This puzzle ball has led me down the dark path. It started it all. I now have six puzzle balls, 1 pyramid, 1 vase, and 1 jar completed...and another ball and pyramid on the way. I think my original ravensburger globe is still my favorite (may be replaced by the antique ravensburger that is on its way from ebay). I've completed three 540 ravensburger balls, one 240 ball, and one 240 pyramid and they are high quality. The pieces click very well together. Sometimes they stick a bit, but use the non-rotating stand as a brace to force them to click nicely and they'll stay better. I've also found on some of the larger balls it helps to do them twice, once from 1-540 and the second from 540-1 and then the finished puzzle will be smoother (as you get towards the end you can only use your fingers to push the pieces together, without the additional leverage they don't always go in smooth). This is one of the best puzzle balls you can get. You can find globes by other companies, but they don't include the spin stand and they just aren't as high of quality. You can find this exact puzzle from 3rd party sellers, but with all puzzles you want to make sure it hasn't been opened so you aren't missing pieces. All my puzzles (so far) have been sealed and not one has a missing piece. ... show more

My teenagers put this together in 30 min for their younger brothers. My 5 year old twins love spinning the globe and looking at places and animals. The quality and sturdiness is great. Would definitely buy again.

The geek/nerd in me can’t begin to describe how much I looked forward to this coming in the mail and being able to do this with my kids. We LOVE puzzles and globes so there was no way I was passing this up. I thought it would have been hard for them to do and expected us to work on it over the weekend however the inside is numbered so you are just finding and following the number pattern. My seven year old ended up working on it on his own while I worked. I had him sort the pieces in groups of 30 (1-30, 30-60, etc). And it took him about 2 hours to do this start to finish. Granted he was up and down in between but he loved it! We both loved that he didn’t have to break it down but is now able to have it on his desk in his room I ended up buying two more. One for my neighbor who is turning 7 soon and one for my nephew who won't be able to use it for many years since he’s only a few months old but I didn’t want to risk not being able to find it then. The pieces are a hard plastic and so far this has not fallen apart. Well made and durable I highly recommend this for the globe lover in your life ... show more
