This is very dangerous using the mains with no information, but I looked a lot of youtube, took the average and went on luck. It works, but now sure it is working right. I think it is correct and it spins the correct way. My last review I noticed is not here where I posted it. Will try again.

The media could not be loaded. I replaced a tiny 775 spindle with this one. I expected it to be loud. The 775 was very loud while running. Much to my surprise, you can hardly hear it running. It sounds like R2-D2 from Star Wars! I made the video. With the phone right next to the spindle. I talked in a lower tone than I would had I been talking to someone. I'm blown away. I'm making sample logos in ebony wood, using various fonts in the video. The logo will be inlaid into all custom guitars that I make. I'm used to needing hearing protection. I have severe tinnitus due to the cnc and other large tools. I made a decision to use a different power supply. ... show more

Don't waste your time or money on this junk. Ran ok for a couple of months but now it it throwing so much RF interferrence that it causes a USB error. How do I know? If I leave the spindle turned off, the machine will run for hours but what use is that...

    • Worth the price but beware
There was no thermal compound for the components mounted to the case for a heatsink. Also the positive and negative poles for the motor are not marked on the controller but since I had it apart I traced it out to find positive located on the right of the two terminals. I also extended all of the wiring so the pot and controller could be mounted in a box. ... show more
