There is nothing in the description that matches the actual product. There is no cork on the bottom, it is not weighted, it does not adhere tightly to surfaces and the texture and feel of each coaster is like that of a stale cracker- dry, brittle and lightweight. I love the ways these look. BUT!!! They do not do the basic job of a coaster! They are not cork backed as the add claims. Any... ANY drink that sweats more than a tiny bit goes right through this coaster. Then it is exactly the same as not using one at all. Don’t get me wrong, I have given them a try. But after almost two weeks I find myself switching coasters, doubling up, and wiping down the table. Look for a similar coaster that has a cork backing. ... show more

Well they are made well and look nice, but don’t absorb condensation at all. I was bummed and somehow thought they were constructed to protect your furniture but they don’t. Maybe use for outside?

These coasters were exactly what I was looking for! Primarily I was going for aesthetics, and it doesn’t disappoint! Well-constructed and pretty sturdy as far as rattan goes. Obviously there are sturdier and better functioning coasters out there, but they don’t look as good as these do! And so far they are doing a job well done. Would buy again! ... show more

These would not lay flat; each of them was warped in some way. Impossible to set a drink on it. Returned them. You’d get better quality at the dollar store.
