I have skin reactions to many metals so I wear mostly beaded jewelry. Buying a length of chain like this lets me add clasps to make bracelets and necklaces to length In the colors that I like. These are very dainty beads, I wouldn't say that they are substantial enough to use as a rosary. At first I thought this beaded chain was a bit pricey, but it is a nice plated gold and three feet is quite a lot for jewelry!

This chain is very pretty and delicate. I got the tourmaline and it is mostly dark green stones. It is a very fine chain so you could add a small pendant to it. The stone beads are roughly 2mm in size. It’s a great chain to wear on its own or layered with other gemstone necklaces.

This arrived in a tiny reusable plastic box. The chain was in a plastic bag and to my surprise was untangled. This is a very fine chain with tiny stones. I had intended to use it as an anklet and it is small enough that the stones disappear. It is very delicate and easily kinked. The stones have a surprising amount of sparkle for their tiny size. I do like this quite a lot, just have to find another project to use it with.

Although they say the semiprecious gems here are 2mm, they are more like 1mm. Very small. Note it comes with some loose extra links and stuff, so be careful when opening.

I bought this because I was looking to recreate a minimalist necklace I saw online and didn't want to do all the hand-linking required to make a chain for such tiny beads. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this came with multiple jump rings and enough clasps to make not one but 2 necklaces if needed (1 longer and 1 shorter)! Because of the way the chain is cut at each end I will probably have to jettison a bead or two on each end in order to free up space to add the rings. What's really nice is that the tourmaline version has the gemstones beautifully arranged in a kind of ombre/gradient way rather than totally random, which is very aesthetically pleasing.
