Great set up... I have a Chrysler Pacifica and when I plug it in to my lighter port, the cord terminates around the middle-back of the second row of seating, which allows anyone in my "bus" to access the charging port. I was under the impression that this would rapidly charge my phone, but I haven't noticed that it charges any faster than previous charging cables that I've used. Regardless, it solves the problem of only being able to charge one or two devices at o once and that has meant FAR less fighting over who gets to use it first! I have only used it to charge iPhones and my Bluetooth headset, but it works well and has nice, tight connectors. Far better than many I've tried in the past that work well for a few weeks until the USB contact becomes "loose" and the charger becomes unreliable. ... show more

I bought this as a gift for my wife because her RAV4 only had a car charger connection in the very back of the vehicle for my daughter to use when travelling. This gadget is great. It has 2 USB connections in the front then a cord connected to 3 USB ports that is long enough to run to the back seat and provide a place for everybody to charge their devices. The added benefit of this was where the ports in the front are located. They are on top of the charger instead of the front. This ended up being perfect for my wife's car because other chargers made it difficult to use the cup holder due to the cord sticking out of the front. This solved that problem. All-in-all I highly recommend this for those with frequent passengers who sit in the back. ... show more

We have teens and boy do they fight over the USB ports! This sends just the rite amount of amperage to each devise depending on what it needs. This should keep everyone happy including the battery. Everything plugs into a usb port and they never seem to have enough ports, As for durability mine got closed in the door of the SUV and took a ride dangling outside for about twenty miles. It still works! I would highly recommend this item for less bickering over the ports in the back seat. On long drives if they are happy we are happy. It's a win win. I first ordered this from Good Morning America. When it took a crap after years of use I ordered from Amazon. If you carry a lot of people in your car it's so worth having. My husband and I use the 2 charging ports in the front and anyone that rides with us can use the 3 ports in the back seat. This is one product I won't be without. After a somewhat dubious start with a defective unit, RapidX has restored my faith! They not only reached out and sent me a replacement product free, but they continued the conversation and personally tested their own unit with the products I was charging.Talk about above and beyond! Fantastic customer service. I have had the replacement unit for 2 months - daily use - without any issues. I had a car full of people and three of us were able to charge up, no problem. Love that this reaches to the back of my Toyota Sienna Minivan - iPads are in full use for the entire roadtrip!     • Don't believe everything you read - not good for Samsung
I bought this because it said that it worked with Samsung phones - it does not work with Samsung S5 or later. In fact, it hardly produced a charge. it does, however, work just like a regular (fast) charger with my iPhone 7 Plus. I have not tried charging more than two devices at once so all the ports are basically worthless to me. i wish there was a way to unplug the extension cable because it is just piled up on the floor of my car. ... show more
