    • Incredibly supportive athletic shoes!

Just wow. I walk at least one hour a day, and athletic shoes are therefore very important. With my moderately-priced sneakers that I have always purchased, I had to cinch the shoe laces very tightly almost until they met in the middle because my feet are narrow, even with Size Narrow shoes. When I received these wonderful new shoes, my heart sunk because they appeared to be very wide. I thought perhaps I could cinch the show laces tightly together to make them work. However! the shoe laces could not be laced tightly together and.... the shoes fit perfectly! The gait in these new shoes was a little different but I quickly got used to them. My heel feels extremely protected inside the shoe and when I take a step it propels me forward. The shoes are extremely protective and comfortable and I will always purchase these shoes in the future, because there is no other shoe brand that even comes close. Cute sneaker that fits well, are sturdy and provide good arch support. I've worn them on trails and paved walking paths for an hour everday, but no longer. The biggest drawback is lack of any cushioning. Other brands I've owned had far more cushioning with equal support - and less expensive. Can't return now or I would. ... show more

I do a lot of walking, I enjoy it, I can listen to my music and let go of anything frustration I may have, however, my feet have issues. I have a neuroma in one foot and arthritis in the other as well as plantar fasciitis. So, have a great shoe, that won’t break the bank is important. For me these walking shoes are it. They feel supportive without being too tight. I walk 2 to 2 1/2 hours every morning and my feet do not hurt or ache. These shoes actually feel so good. I did as recommended, wear the shoes for a couple days around the house to break them in. To be honest, I only picked this pinkish color because at the time they were the cheapest price of all the color choices, but when buying again, I’ll buy what ever color I like at the time now that I know how comfortable they are. I do wear my insoles in them, just for added comfort since I walk so much, don’t want the Plantar Fasciitis coming back. Vionic shoes are an excellent product for my needs. However, this style did not work. The support was typical and comfortable until I walked in them. My foot slid down towards the toe bed causing my feet to fall asleep. It seemed the heel bed was higher than the arch support which caused the issue. The cost was reasonable for Vionics. In addition, it seemed the shoes had been worn once before. The shoe was in great shape and clean except for the soles. I will continue to buy Vionic shoes, just not this style. ... show more
