weighed my last fish with this and rappala grippers... leave the grippers on the scale when you turn it on and it will zero out whatever is hanging on it, then just weigh your fish!!! Simple to convert from KG to pounds... after you turn it on just hit the button again and it will switch between Kg and pounds. I had a 4 pound trout but will have to test on something bigger if I land one. ... show more

Seems well made and is accurate. I weighed a 4 lb box of salt and it weighed 4.18 including the box. Close enough for me. The display is very easy to read. I think you will like it.

Can't figure out how to make it give weight in pounds snd ounces. It gives it in kilogramds and i have to convert.

I can get a decent reading on a scale. I have tried the clip handle ones and this is by far the best I have tried thus far. Quick access, ease of use and large display. Durable to be thrown around the boat or truck. Worth it if you want convenient and right on info.

    • battery terminal corroded after 3 months
Item was received in a timely manner as expected. However, the scale stopped working after 3 months. When I opened it up I saw the battery terminals had corroded. I tried to get the battery out so I could clean it but the wires came loose. The scale did not get rained on or anything other than being around water. It is for fishing, right?. My husband has a scale that he has had for years without any corrosion. Ridiculous! ... show more
