I believe I discovered this product in a tutorial. I decided to try it out. It took a little practice but now it seems like not a day goes by that I don't find a new use for it. I suggest special ink brushes for application. Also, start with a light touch because this is very dark ink. Its also water soluble so you can wet the paper before and/or after and do all sorts of interesting things. You can use rubber stamps. Cover the entire surface for a typical stamp or parts of it for a distressed look. I've been using this heavily for over two months and I have not had to re-ink yet. ... show more

Yes, you would assume that something in shrink-wrap was new, but the first one that I received looked worse than my old one which was over three years old. The edges were tattered, beat up and had loose strings from the top of the pad, and there was almost no ink in it. Setting side-by-side, each person that I showed them to picked my old one as being the new one. I was absolutely livid, and not happy when the Amazon employee stated something like "customer did not like" as a reason for the return, rather than "someone had the gall to send a used item to this customer." ... show more
