RANGER-Archival Ink Pads. The ink pads provide lasting results. They will not deteriorate paper or precious photographs, they will not bleed when painted or brayered over with watercolors, water-based inks, markers or pearl pigments. These inks are fade resistant, water resistant, acid free, non-toxic and permanent for paper-heat set for permanence on non-porous surfaces. These pads feature removable hinged lid, raised stamping surface, and measure 2.75x4 inches. Made in USA.

I gave this a 3 star rating because in the past these pads were awesome but now not so much. Ranger has skimped on the amount of ink in these pads and I could barely get stamp prints out of a brand new pad. I had to tamp my stamp down a least 5-7 times to get enough ink to make a print. I wound up buying a ink replenishment bottle to fill the pad. Was this their game all along? Hmmm 🤔 ... show more

This ink pad led me on a chase. Was difficult to find any ink pads, but Amazon to the rescue once again! I personally use it to add words or a border to my art journal pages. A little messy to use, but not much of a big deal!

Firstly, my stamp pad came sealed in plastic and fully inked. The first time I tried it, I noticed the ink smeared right after I stamped it. The second time I used it, I gave the ink a few minutes to dry and saw that it didn't smear at all. I have concluded that allowing the ink to dry is the better approach. Following that, I've never had any problems with ink smearing. My only wish was that the pad came with a hinged lid rather than one that comes off. I also understand that a cover that comes off can, and in this case probably does, keep that pad from drying out longer. ... show more
