  • Good value for money…
This was the less expensive of two choices, this one or a competitive product that also covered the roll bar extensions for twice the price. I went cheap and and happy: Good: fits, easy to install, zipper was fine - not heavy duty - but fine, looks good from a few feet away… Bad: “denim” is more of a printed pattern than the more expensive version, a little baggy, the padding underneath is thinner than it could be… I am happy with the purchase, it was $85 after a discount, I ordered some aftermarket padding and a $6 roll of vinyl tape to cover the roll bar extension, which is tucked under my bikini top anyway. 1990 jeep YJ Wrangler ... show more

  • Completely install before making the seatbelt lug holes.
Use a 3lb. Dead Blow Hammer to cut out the front seat belt upper attach lugs in the roll bar pad material. It will cut a near perfect circle which will be cleaner in appearance and function. Once the pad is in place and completely zipped up, locate by feel the lugs beneath the fabric. Take your dead blow hammer and firmly but not forcibly smack the lug area making sure to go around the circumference until you see a cut line appear . Then apply a couple firm slightly harder smack directly over the now formed cut circle to Geta complete perforation. It will now peel off with little to no effort. Now you have the exact circle to place the seat belt upper attach point on. By the way, the whole purpose a Dead Blow is best is because it won't bounce back and will stay on your working surface not all over the place damaging areas you don't want hit by the hammer's head. ... show more

  • Not Worth It At Half The Price
Looks and feels really cheap. Also does not include covers for the part that goes from roll bar to windshield(that's another $66). I got this "used like new" for half price and I'm still returning it because it's not even worth it at half price. Look around a bit and you will find much better deals

  • Shorter than I thought
The material quality is pretty good, the insulation is pretty good, but the zippers are kind of a one-time-use. If you don't line them up perfectly, they will go off track and they're the type that are easy to break. The cover reaches the very edge of the Jeep's side. Any higher and you'd see the roll bar. So don't expect it to cover the length. I recommend steaming it once you fit it up to get the fabric to relax and unwrinkle. Be super careful with the zippers because if you miss align and get them started, you'll have a heck of a time getting them back apart and restarted. I don't recall the price, but believe they're a pretty fair value for the money. ... show more

  • Looks cheap, fits cheap, feels cheap
Foam is much thinner than the original and with the zippers tight the cover sits loose and wrinkly on the rollbar. Foam has a small assortments of tears and voids in it, it appears to be glued in place at multiple locations and yet they did not press the foam in place at multiple spots so the foam is just floating free in some areas, in others where it was glued in its off-center and overhanging one edge with a massive gap on the other and you have to push it back so it doesn't get in the zipper. The cover itself also aesthetically looks and feels subpar, if you run your hand over it feels like you've wrapped your rollbar in a cheap swimming pool cover. The stitching leaves much to be desired as well with a variety of stands poking out everywhere. It looks cheap, it feels cheap, it fits cheap and the manufacturer has so little confidence in it fitting properly they require you to modify and cut multiples holes in it to fit the seatbelt mounts yourself. ... show more
