At first was going return.says on card not windows 10.but on site says is. The site on card gives, says phishing site and wants get passwords etc. Then the next was email.said none exists, disk would not run. So on thinking return, but one last ditch went into file opened and ran through it. Ran and reloaded windows as said on site. I had to return that disc because it never works so i have to reset my computer and reinstall the windows and loose everything. So If it was damaged itwas from you not me so i want my full return not 0.78 cents

    • OMG, a lifesaver
I have to say, at first I was skeptical buying this product. Prior to buying it, I got the ‘unmountable boot volume error’ on my home desktop. I spoke with a Microsoft employee who basically told me I was screwed. He said I had to get a blank USB drive, copy windows recovery from a laptop, plug the USB into my desktop to reset/reinstall windows, and that all my data, files, pictures would be deleted. He said that was the only way, and that all my files would be gone. I thought, let me give this ‘system recovery’ disc a try. Worst case scenario I’m out $13. Well, let me tell you, it worked amazingly! It took all together, maybe about a half hour. I followed a few simple steps, and my computer is up and running good as new, or good as old, as it is from 2009. But I can’t say good enough things about this, give it a shot if you cant start up your computer. And don’t listen to the people at Microsoft that have their heads up their you know where. ... show more

    • Would have worked if my hard drive wasn't shot.
I wasn't sure what was wrong with my computer and why it wouldn't boot, or even go into repair mode; so as a last ditch effort I decided to give this software a try. This disk was able to get me into the screen where you can either try to repair or reinstall Windows so it did work fort that, and it even let me start the process of reinstalling Windows 10 which is what I wanted it for. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get windows 10 to complete the reinstall process, but that is because as it ends up my hard drive was shot. If my hard drive was ok, I think this software probably would have worked. I see a lot of reviews about people not being able to get the disk to boot up, and I had the same issue when I tried it out; but after going to the website for instructions and following the instructions on how to change the boot order, I had no issues after that booting from the disk. You do have to be a little tech savvy to complete that process, but I didn't have any issues and I am by no means an IT expert. ... show more

    • Saved big on repairs by doing it myself.
I used this to save myself a big repair bill. You Tube has plenty of videos on how to repair machines ourselves. Install a new hard drive, and it will be SSD. This disc will reinstall W10 quick and easy.

Listing says it will re install windows, then the little business card says there is not a full windows installation media on it. Its a recovery/repair disc. The listing is cery misleading and contradicts itself. Waste of $12, keep it in the junk drawer for future use I suppose.
