  • A Simple Way to Install Windows 11 Pro on a PC Without a Disc Drive!
I installed Windows 11 Pro on my newly built PC because the ATX case that I started the build with had no room for a disc drive and I didn't want to spend any cash on a portable disc drive at the time. The OS installs quickly and efficiently from USB and Microsoft supplies the Key for registering the OS on a cardboard tab that you find on the inside of the cardboard case that the USB drive comes packaged in. Installing the OS onto a SSD is extremely simple. The only caveat here is that you must configure the BIOS for the SSD before you perform the OS install. The instructions that you receive with any mainstream BIOS explain how to perform this action quite simply. All-in-all I am very happy with this purchase from Amazon which is a little bit hard to accomplish from some of the other OS venders out there for obtaining the BIOS in USB format and at a premium price. ... show more

  • Best form of new retail pro license
I wouldn’t give 5 stars to Win11 Pro — but if you need a new standalone license, a USB stick is a great way to get it. If you shop around, you may find a small discount compared to Microsoft’s full retail pricing.

  • What I Expected
Not much to say about this. I gave it only a 4 because of issues I have with the OS and not the product that is used to install the software. I was exactly what I expected it to be. I can imagine though that if you do not buy operating systems online very often, you probably would like to know that there are multiple versions of WIndows (Home and Pro). And there are multiple types of each of those. You hae OEM type licensing and Full Retail licensing. For most people the OEM is fine. It basically means that the OS can only be used on one set of hardware. If you want to be able to install the OS on a future computer after the current one wears out, or if you go through computers quickly, then you might want a Full Retail version of either Home or Pro. ... show more

  • Window Key Didn’t Work After Waiting a Month
Soooo I recently built my first pc and had all the bells and whistles. I went on ahead and bought a usb and created a bootable windows usb because I ordered this key on the 10th of January and I just got it today. Absolutely insane! Then I’m like ok whatever I already had my computer up and running whatever atleast now I got the windows key and I can proceed to activate it now. So I enter the activation key just for them to tell me it’s invalid waited a whole damn month to get this key and it doesn’t even work. So disappointed I might as well have just gotten a OEM copy and been done with it. I wanted to get retail to leave room for change incase I wanted to transfer to a new motherboard but I see now this was a waste of time. If you know anywhere that sales legitimate windows keys(retail then by all means but waited a month to get it to not only have to create my own anyways cause they took too long but when I finally got it it didn’t work. Waste of 155 dollars. Save your money if you can. I’m extremely disappointed. ... show more

  • Worth it!
I know there is a ton of bad press about Windows 11, but it actully a nice OS without the baggage that Windows 10 had that most it wasn't needed. I found that the problems most of the people were complaining about were the ones that did the Free Upgrade. Some of the negatives that people were giving Windows 11 were actully things that I didn't like in Windows 10. I like having a very simple and clean OS without having a ton of addons that are quite useless too me. Also, before buying this product. I stongly suggest looking at Microsofts website to confirm that your computer or your next computer build will be good to go with Windows 11. They have a list of CPUs that are verified for Windows 11. Overall Learning Curve - Little above average to above average only because of the changes to the layout of the OS. Installation - If you use a USB 3.0 port. Very fast, but then again. This may vary depending on the computer itself. Warning: USB might be hot after install. ... show more

  • It works!!!
I wasn't particularly interested in upgrading from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro. I had heard some negative things about Win11, and I was perfectly happy with Win10 Pro. However, when I built a new desktop computer, I decided to add Win11 Pro to my new system. I haven't noticed anything that would make me miss using Windows 10 Pro. My computer works fine and I'm glad I did purchase Windows 11 Pro. ... show more

  • Wrong Software on Memory stick, but easy to fix.
Ordered this for a new from scratch pc build. Instead of windows installation files, it actually contained Microsoft Office. I contacted Microsoft support and they sent me to a link where I downloaded and installed a new windows 11 image onto the USB Memory Stick. On the good, it was an easy problem to resolve and the provided key worked just fine. On the bad it was an unexpected hassle, with wasted time contacting Microsoft Support and taking corrective action. Now that I have a good windows build, will simply purchase keys for future installations. ... show more
