The first thing you will probably notice about this rake is how long its handle is. I know I did. I don't think I've ever had a rake with such a long handle. And, I have discovered that I actually like the long handle--a lot. I'm able to reach under shrubs and bushes quite a bit further to rake out detritus and leaves. The whole thing comes in segments, which is a bit weird but understandlable, given the shipping involved. It screws together easily and then works like a champ--a very long handled champ!

I have lots of sprawling bushes and wandering bougainvillea throughout my yard and until now I got by using a kid's rake to clean the dead leaves under them. The rake was meant for a 5 year old kid. The head was small so it was easy to maneuver, but the handle was short so a kid could use it. This metal garden rake is going to make this process much easier. The 5 foot handle gives me the ability to work from a distance and reach debris I could not reach otherwise. The structure of the rake seems solid and the rivets sound. Looks to be durable as well. This is offered as a "kid's rake" but I have to disagree with that statement. Seems to be as sturdy as an "adult" rake. The very sturdy adjustable handle is what makes this one different. I would recommend!

This rake is nice. It’s sturdy and works effectively. It doesn’t gather as many as a wide tooth rake but it does the job. It’s easy to store and doesn’t take up much space. And it was easy to assemble.

Once you've assembled all the segments together, it's a pretty solid rake. I'm glad that you can remove one segment just to shorten the length. Otherwise, it's a good rake out of the box. It's pretty solid at the fork area where it's assembled evenly and without any mistakes The crimps are clean, and the joints are very tight. As for the width of the rake, it's 8.75". The finish looks amazing with that hammered black finish. At the end of the pipe, there is a plastic cap with an opening where you can hang this rake when not in use. Overall, this is a pretty nice rake that you can get into tight places and also shorten the length

Heavy duty rake with a far reach. The height is adjustable. I have lots of little rakes but this is by far the best if you are looking for something to scratch the surface and one with a far reach. A great garden tool to have!!

The perfect size for cleaning up after chickens! I actually ended up removing one of the sections after I took the picture, because that made it even more perfect for reaching around inside the coop. It's really nice that you can do that to get it to the length you want.
