I received so many compliments on my hair. I got called a fairy at least 3 times a day on vacation lol. Easy to work with and tangle free when installing. The tinsel did hold up though the heated dipping process and kept its glimmer until the end.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered for my first attempt at fairy hair for my daughter and the tinsel worked very well! We used the slipknot method and did not use the beads or tool that came in the kit. Only negative (which is my own fault for not looking at the photo closer), is that the “Rainbow” choice that we picked is many different color strands of tinsel when we were hoping the tinsel itself was a rainbow. Very cute, I wanted to love this product because the price but unless you’re a professional you will struggle !! It took me a few hours before I got the hang of it. They do stay very well once installed but it is very difficult to attach to your hair.

The media could not be loaded. My hair is short…real short. So why would I buy a product to enhance long hair, you might ask? Before I ordered this product I had two bird strikes on my patio door. One little chickadee survived. The little tufted titmice did not. I started out looking at Christmas tinsel. My search brought up this hair tinsel kit too. Just what I was looking for! The strands are 48” long and gathered in several different bundles. Perfect for my purposes. I taped each bundle to a different area of my glass door and they worked perfectly. I have not had a bird strike since! I was examining these strands as I was putting them up. They seemed very strong when I pulled on a single strand. There was a kit containing tiny bands, small stretch bands and a tool with a hooked end (almost like a crochet hook) to pull hair and tinsel together someway. I have no idea how this all works with hair. I just know it is working beautifully for me. ... show more
