  • Great Value in its price range, unbeatable. many options great signal range, fast response time.
Color: Orange
The media could not be loaded. This Transmitter Receiver combo is hard to beat. The reception is great as tested against spektrum at ground level and it worked great flew my helicopter up until i could'nt see it and and still had full reception bars on the transmitter . you get signal strenght, receiver battery voltage and flight pack voltage all on screen during flight.... The gimbals are far smoother than my spektrum ix12 and dx8 g2. its setup is easy and has a lot of functions for planes, multirotor and helicopters, etc. i would recommend it if you are looking for something that is economical and will out perform other transmitters in its class.it will be great for fpv with 3ms response time. buy it and see you wont be disappointed. ... show more

  • Vary intuitive

I used it for the first time today and so far couldn't be happier. Easy to bind, I set it up on my PA18 Cub with flaps. Set up 2 of the switches for my needs, again easy to figure out without the manual. Went to the flying field today and flew the Cub several times without a hitch. The response is excellent, I used the 12 channel receiver it came with. Today I ordered 2 10 channel receivers. I believe for the money you can't beat the price, and with receivers starting at $19.99! I have been flying a high end Graupner for a number of years, but with them no longer in the US, possibly for good, I wanted to test out another system. I am impressed so far and plane to go back out tomorrow for further testing. So yea, I would definitely recommend this transmitter. 1. ease of use. 2. low cost, 3. functionality and great feel. ... show more

  • Great radio with limited instructions
Color: Orange
I've been flying RC aircraft for over 50 years. I have many high-end radio systems. This radio has most of the "bells and whistles" of those systems, however, the manual that comes with it is only a few pages of basic information. When I went to the Radiolink website and tried to download the complete manual, that file was listed as "corrupted and Dangerous" and could not be downloaded. I was just trying to set up my ailerons with two separate servos. By spending a lot of time on the website, I found out that you can only use receiver channels 6 or 7 for the second servo (channel 5 won't work to mix). This is my third Radiolink radio system and I have many successful flights on them. It is a fine, reliable radio system at a very good price, but the poor instruction manual is a minus. ... show more

I'm actually quite impressed with the range on this transmitter I was able to get 5 km

  • Low Quality, Bad Manual
Color: Grey
Doesn't work with any of my devices OR simulators it was advertised as being. Tried several receivers and cables, nothing worked. Device was recognized and paired, but no stick input is being read at all. Be prepared to be told by their support that you need to order a third-party, unincluded adapter cable set from AliBaba/China and wait ages on shipping to try it again. Not available on Amazon. A useless and expensive paperweight, I'll be returning it as soon as possible. ... show more

  • Great price
Color: Orange
Been years since I’ve been involved with RC. I paid more in the 90s for less channels and less options. Nicely made radio with great reviews.

  • Just okay
Color: Orange
This radio is okay. I bought it after reading the great reviews. I am new to the RC flying world so I didn't have much to go on. However, I quickly learned some things: * There is open-source radio software called openTX, and it's amazing. It has tons of mixing options, voice prompts, and a nice user interface. It supports multiple receiver brands. * This radio does not run openTX. Its software is easy to use but pretty limited in comparison. It has limited mixing (4 linear channels and 2 curves) and the interface isn't particularly pleasing to look at. It works only with RadioLink receivers. * This radio is easy to bind to the receiver (and comes bound to the included receiver). The telemetry works great and the connection survives at really close range (like a few inches from the model), which is great for controlling an indoor vehicle. Other setups sometimes have trouble at close range. * The build quality is just okay. The plastic finish feels somewhat cheap (the texture isn't great) and the menu wheel and buttons are not fun to use. They feel really hard and plasticky. I had issues with the little joystick and wheel setup; as I would spin the wheel my thumb would hit the joystick and I would end up adjusting a nearby setting to the one I wanted. * The battery bay is too small to fit dual 18650 cells (a typical 7.4 pack) so you will need to use AAs with the included 8x AA holder or find a small rechargeable battery. There is no foam in the battery bay so you might need to add some to prevent your battery from flopping around. * My radio arrived with a defective AA holder; it was missing a contact. Support was super friendly and responsive and sent me a replacement. For this price, I strongly recommend that you consider an openTX-capable radio. For examples, look at RadioMaster, Jumper, and FrSky. I ended up getting a RadioMaster TX16s and it blows this radio away in every category for a few dollars more. ... show more
