Yes it's not Mariocart. It doesn't have next gen graphics (looks great on an LG OLED 4K tv though). Yes the audio must have been edited by one of Ryan's toddler sisters. But... If your kid is obsessed with Ryan, they'll love it. Most six year olds won't say "Hey this game doesn't have ray tracing!!" or "It's not in 7.1 surround sound!" But they will be thrilled that Ryan's voice (albeit in your eardrum) and even videos of Ryan and his family are all throughout the game. All the characters are featured. Amazon has this priced right. The game doesn't have enough tracks/content to justify the price Nintendo is charging. Buy it here. Minus one star because I feel there should have been at least a few more different tracks. PS - Don't forget to enable the auto-steer and auto-accelerate functions if you have a younger child or a child that isn't used to video games. It will make them happy. :) ... show more

    • Frustrating for my five year old
I'm hoping that when my son gets a little bit older he can play this without getting frustrated and then wanting to throw his $200 nintendo switch across the room! I don't understand exactly what makes him so mad, but a lot of hand held video games have this effect on him, so it's not necessarily that something is wrong with this game, just his age. It looks cute and he liked playing the app version on my phone, but would usually get upset with that too once the levels became more difficult. My son really hates losing with a passion, so that can be very difficult for him. ... show more

My son loves Ryan, but he thinks this game is just ok. He'd rather spend his time playing Mario kart. That said, I don't regret purchasing it because I still feel like he might play it from time to time.

    • Game is too difficult for 6 year old
I specifically bought this game because my son loves Ryan’s World and loves the Race with Ryan on my iPhone and I also thought it would be an easier game for him (since Ryan’s World targets ages 3 - 8 or so). This game is way too difficult and every time he tries to play it he ends up in tears. The car keeps getting put in the wrong direction and it’s hard for him to get it going back the right way. Very disappointed I paid so much money for a game that makes my son upset. ... show more
