I've ordered this product before and loved it. What I received the first time was pure, unscented, natural Shea butter as advertised. We used it all and re-ordered. Unfortunately this time we were sent something in the same packaging but a completely different product. This new one is whipped and has a perfume scent added to it. I avoid perfumes and fragrances and find this to be so overpowering we can't even use it. And since it has the same packaging and doesn't list any other ingredients I'm not even sure what I'm rubbing on my skin. I've asked for a replacement. Hopefully they send the right product this time.

This is a must have for all types of race, skin type and especially for children. I grew up using sheabutter and Vaseline and all I can say is my skin looks very defined and acne free. Apply twice for the face and you'll thank me later.

this shea butter is spoiled. I purchased this about a month ago and instantly opened it and noticed it was turning white. This is advertised as raw unrefined shea butter which should be yellow in color. This butter is yellow around the edges only and the butter is turning white because it is going bad. I requested a refund for the product but because I work and go to school I was unable to get around to sending the product back. Now the item is no longer available for a refund so i am stuck with shea butter that has gone bad. Ill be throwing it in the garbage but i hope to prevent future buyers from making the same mistake that i made.

PURE GARBAGE. SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE AND FEELS LIKE PETROLEUM JELLY. BURNED MY SKIN. PURE GARBAGE. I've bee using shea Ia butter for almost 15 years and this is item is nothing like she butter. Only the packaging and the color of the product are even close. I opened this container yesterday after running out of my shea butter purchased from a local vendor. It BURNED MY SKIN WHEN I APPLIED IT. THE CONSISTENCY IS GRITTY, FEELS LIKE PETROLEUM JELLY AND SMELLS LIKE CAR FUEL. I WASHED MY FACE AFTER APPLY AND RIGHT NOW (OVER 12 HOIRS LATER MY FACE IS STILL TINGLING... TINGLING -- HOW?!) Apparently my 'return window' closed several days ago. I would return this otherwise. I'm seriously thinking to give a sample from this container to a colleague, who works in a chemistry lab, to see what in the world is in this 'concoction'.

Yeah it’s so hard, I had to use a knife to use some. I know it melts in your hand but this is ridiculous. It was not this hard the first time I ordered it. One is yellow, and one is ivory. The first time I ordered it, I got Ivory. 2nd time was yellow. The difference is clear.

I have a condition that causes my hands to break out into a bad rash every time I become stressed. My hands will dry out, blisters will break out, burst, peel, deep pitting and turn red again with itching and burning. Sometimes even bleeding. Its horrible. I've been dealing with this for nearly 4 years. I've tried countless hand creams, oils, lotions. Anything to bring me relief. It's taken a few days to figure out the best method to use. For me, it's to rub a very thick layer on both hands just moments before I go to sleep. The first morning I did this, I saw a DRASTIC difference from the night before. My skin was smoother, minimal itching and burning, and the pitting had begun healing. I've now been using it this way for a few days, and my skin has smoothed back out, no peeling, the redness has drastically improved. I have NEVER had such relief! Absolutely love, and will likely be buying again in 5 or 6 months. Having bought 16 oz, this will easily last me 3 to 4 months. Even with daily use. It also works well with sunburns. I did notice a concern about it smelling. I can say that it does have a bit of a nut smell (given that it comes from nuts, that's to be expected.) which evaporates fairly quickly. I think it's about 10ish minutes? I know my husband who has the nose of a bloodhound couldn't smell it on me after 15 minutes or so. It also soaks in fairly quickly. It is a bit greasy at first, but my skin soaked it up like a sponge. I've also been using it to lock in moisture in my hands while I do household chores. I'm constantly rinsing my hands off as I work, (habit) and the water just beads off the backs of my hands which is where I break out the worst. I'm already recommending this to friends and family. TLDR: This product is AMAZING, FABULOUS, MINDBLOWING. CON: packaging kind of sucks, but for the price, you won't see me complain. The goods is the butter, which I EASILY cut with a knife and tossed into a rubbermaid container. I'll end up portioning it out into more containers to have in my car, truck, kitchen, purse, bedroom, bathroom, etc.
