  • Fun for all ages!
Style: Deluxe Edition
We got this game after playing it at a friend's house. It is great for all ages. The younger kids can understand and play, and the adults aren't too bored with it. The instructions are short and understandable with pictures to show how as well. The quality is pretty good. The tiles are wood and painted well with deep and bright colors. The bag included for storing and picking tiles is good thick fabric. The tile holders are great to be able to see all your tiles without everyone else seeing them. But the tile holders are super thin and cheap plastic so they may not last very long.... Another good thing is that the game doesn't take as long to play as many games do these days. It is fun with only two people or with more. Overall, we love this game and will probably be playing it every week. ... show more

  • Can't say enough about this game! And customer service...they will replace missing pieces!
Style: Classic Edition
Can't say enough about this game. We enjoy this game very much. We are 70. We also have played it with our grandchildren ages 7 and 10 and also bought a game for our adult children. There is strategy, so it makes you think. There are not too many rules. Fun and fairly quick, maybe an hour of playing. We don't have an issue seeing the colors as mentioned in one of the reviews, except if it is really sunny or dark. This company is the best to work with, as getting a replacement piece and a replacement bag was painless. I would highly recommend this game for all ages, for quick fun, for keeping you sharp and challenged. Easy to travel with, as could just take the bag with tiles and the rule book. Fun, Fun, Fun... ... show more

  • Perfect game for all ages! Easy to learn, fun!
Style: Deluxe Edition
This is a great game for all ages, its easy to learn, really rather simple, and fun to play. This game is made of high quality game tiles and storage/ playing bag. Easy to take anywhere. When we play with first time players, we always play tiles face up and help each other to find places to play. It can be quite strategic and can be as complex as the players choose to make it. We have advanced elderly, a down syndrome, 20 somethings as well as mid-agers, we all like to play! ... show more

  • A fun game with simple rules but it is still strategic
Style: Classic Edition
It is like scrabble with shapes and colors. It is easy to learn but there definitely is strategy being used. I love how simple the instructions are and that they show step by step how to keep score. They are very good instructions.

  • Great game for many ages...6yo to grandparent!
Style: Classic Edition
Learned about this game from friend with multigenerational family. Play is limited to 4 players but a tournament quickly developed in our family! Everyone who knows colors and numbers can pay and the challenge is mental flexibility, seeing all the options and using best option to score more points. We love it and it travels well in small canvas bag included with game. Enjoy!! ... show more

  • Fun and mind-stimulating
Style: Classic Edition
Really I'd give this 4 1/2 stars -- if they changed just a couple of things I mention at the bottom, it would have 5. Good game to get the neurons working. It has quality tiles with bright colors. The game is fairly easy to learn, and it's appropriate for a number of ages. I got this to encourage my elderly parents to keep their minds active. Turns out it's a bit challenging for my dad to do on his own -- I think we will probably never play with our tiles hidden, which is the typical way, since he needs help finding the best moves. But that's ok -- we're not doing it to see who can win. I can see having a lot of fun with this as a family or with a bunch of high school or college kids where people could get really competitive -- or even a group of adults getting together. You can get some real strategy going. Things that would make it better: Add tile holders like Scrabble has so people can see their tiles easily without other people seeing them. Make the diamond shaped tiles more clearly diamond shaped rather than just squares on their sides -- they look too much like the squares Still recommend. Fun game. ... show more

  • Easy enough to learn and fun to play
Style: Deluxe Edition
Bought as a gift for a six year old. It was easy to learn and fun to play. The plastic tray was a little flimsy, but the tiles themselves were sturdy and easy to handle.
