This is a beautifully stitched comforter. It is thin but heavy so it adds a layer of warmness when you layer it with other blankets underneath it. And if you need a more lightweight blanket for summer it's perfect by itself. I've washed it several times and none of the stitching has come undone and it still looks brand new. There is no fade to the black color even after running it through the dryer several times.

This is a 3-piece set, including one quilted bedspread with 2 matching pillow shams. When I saw the pictures of this bedspread on Amazon, I was immediately attracted to the NAVY BLUE color, and I am glad I went ahead with this product. The Navy Blue adds plenty of nice bold color to my otherwise boring bedroom. And I like that it's 100% polyester and easily washable. I was also interested in this Bedspread because the description said it was lightweight. Yep, it is lightweight. And, in my opinion, warmer than I was expecting for a thin bedspread. Last night, the temperature in my bedroom was 64 degrees F. I slept between two sheets, and only this bedspread on top of me. In fairness, I do sleep with extra pillows, I have something of a "warm" bed, and I generally sleep "warm." But with only this spread on top of me, I was comfortably warm, and not at all concerned about getting cold in the middle of the night. This bedspread is advertised to be "ultra-soft." Well ... it doesn't seem ULTRA-soft to me ... but at least comfortably soft. It's not SO soft ... to be "slippery" ... and slide off of my bed. It generally stays were I put it, which is what I want. This bedspread has been manufactured with what they call an "ultrasonic quilting process." As far as I can tell, this means that the layers of the bedspread have been stuck together (ultrasonically?) ... rather than sewn together. To me, this makes the bedspread look more "cheaply" made than if it were sewn together. However, for me, I don't care, especially if the layers stay stuck together, perhaps better than some of the sewn layers of spreads or blankets or sheets that I've used in the past. I don't know how how ONE bedspread could be, as this Amazon listing claims, "suitable for hot summer eves and delivers essential supplementary warmth during cold winter days." This sounds like marketing puffery to me. The only way I could see this bedspread to be "suitable" for "hot summer eves" would be if I kick all or part of it off of me ... in the summer. I do think that the spread is suitable, as is, for "cool Spring nights" and "cool Autumn nights." I think it would be suitable for "cold winter nights," IF I add more layers to it. And I still like the bold color.

The media could not be loaded. I knew this was a thin "blanket" and had machine "stitches", but I never expected it to be this flimsy. It is way under my expectations. Goodness, it's not worth $30 to me, I'd pay no more than $9.99 for this set, honestly.

I have been using this quilt now for about 3 weeks and have been quite happy with it. It came rolled up in an attractive box with nice design, with no chemical smell. I recommend giving all new linen and blankets a quick wash however, just in case of any residuals. It is soft without being super soft like fleece, not scratchy, and comfortable. Even though it advertises itself as a quilt, I myself consider it more of a blanket. It is somewhat on the thinner side of most quilts or blankets, but lightweight and warm. I would say it is good for light to medium duty or those who sleep hot like me. It is also great for those who like to roll up in the blankets and tuck their feet in under the folds. The look and design of the quilt is attractive, with nice crisscross quilt patterns all over, as seen in the photos. In the right light, you can see some of the micro-perforation holes, which look great and also aid in the quilt being breathable to a small extent. The black color is also nice and deep, and goes well with my Ikea bed. I find the blacks of the quilt and pillowcases and the bed complement each other well. The pillowcases are also good quality, but I wish they were slightly thicker. They are not so thin you can see the white of the pillow coming through, but I find thinner pillowcases have a tendency to become more wrinkled and hold those wrinkles vs. a thicker material. Overall, I am pretty happy with this quilt set, and look forward to using it for years to come!
