I bought the 84” tall tent. I made a rookie mistake during my first grow and originally bought a 60” tent. My autos should be about 2-3 feet tall. I did not add in the 12” of soil and 12” drop for hanging the grow light. This would leave no room for the buds to grow and they’d burn up. My autos started to get light burn even when I was jerry rigging with zip ties to get the light higher up. I bit the bullet and hot this 2nd taller tent. Very happy with it. I have autos, so I can’t comment if it’s completely light proof. But this does the job and was easy to put together. I’m 5’2” and with the help of a step stool, was able to put it together by myself without issue. The only reason I knocked a star off was for some design flaws. The tent include 2 small tool bags and a viewing window. However, the tool bags are at the top of the tent....7 feet high up! And the viewing window is 6 feet high! Do they are useless unless I grab my little step ladder each time. ... show more

I'll begin by saying that I've already purchased a smaller tent from this same company, the 24x48 and was pleased with the quality... It was just too small. That being said, the 48x48 that I just received is FULL OF LIGHT LEAKS!!! Not super happy with the outcome, but cant afford to purchase another one. UPDATE: The company did see my review, and asked me to send pictures. After doing so, they chose to send me a new cover. This particular company's customer service is honestly better than most companies I have dealt with. They went out of their way to make sure I was happy. was a bit daugnting at first when i opens up the box! but i managed to assemble it and fight the massive tent fabric LOL into place! you got a be pretty strong to pop the fabric over the poles in the coreners,,,,having my rotator cuff operated on three months ago did not help in that respect...but i managed to assemble it on my own in a fairly limited space. When using the zips, pull towards you and away from the tent. it stops the fasteners catching on the seams for some reason, one i fuigered that out i couldn’t be more happy with my smart new grow tent! smart on the outside and lovely and shines inside, lots of vent holes etc. a great deal for a nice tall tent...go for the tallest one you can! remember your goin* to be hanging lights in it an tha will take up 8 inches of roof space. ... show more

Update#2 the company was great to work with and they sent a new tent that went together perfectly worth the buy just remember you get what you pay for I will recommend this product (Update!!) (1 star to 3 star)seller contacted me as soon as their business hours opened, offered to fix my problem free of charge. Excellent customer service!!! I will update my review when I receive the replacement. I bought 2 of these because it seemed as though this could have been a good product but it appears that I got 2 tents that missed quality control. One tent could not be fully assembled because one of the poles labeled #2 was the wrong pole I added a picture it was tapered at both ends but one end should have been open. So I cant speek of the quality of the actual tent material because I never unwrapped it. Also some of the poles had very sharp burs left on that could have torn the tent once I tried to put it on. I set that one aside built the second one and all the poles are correct but the locking tab and holes dont line up on one side when built. (Not a big issue as this will be the top and I cant see it coming loose) but still needed to be said. The tent to the second one went on nicely and zippers worked smoothly. I dont have lights in it yet so I cant speak to its ability to not leak light. I have purchase other tents with no problem but this company had the sizes I needed,it seems like a good product as long as you get one that has been properly checked before being sent out. Shipped sooner than expected so I was excited to get them going looks like my plans will have to wait. I will update this review if the seller rectifies the issues and makes things good. Had I recieved all correct parts and had been able to get both tents assembled it easily would have been a 5 star rating. As it is right now only being able to put one of the two together .... 1 star (Update after installing lights) This is a veg box so light leaks are not a huge issue, but it does have pin holes all over that let light out especially at the seams pictures added.
