I purchased this part to replace the original wand that came with my Dyson, because the release tab broke off of it. 3 months later and the same exact thing happens to this one. The release tab broke off in the exact same way my original one did. Needless to say, this is a low quality product, and you almost certainly will have the same problem as me even with light vacuum use.

I broke the original one that came with the vacuums when using it and found this one on here. I was a little worried at first that it would not work as well but it has done great and it's even an upgrade I think from the factory because this one is metal where mine was plastic. Looks great and gets the job done!

My husband tripped over the vacuum and crushed the bar that came with it so I found myself searching for a replacement and purchasing an item I didn’t even know could be replaced! This has worked well for our purposes and it looks almost identical to the original with the exception of not being printed with the vacuums name. Despite the fact that I will likely never know which vacuum I actually own again, this has completely fulfilled our needs and I was pleasantly surprised with the product.

This wand is an almost perfect replacement Same size and weights. Only complaint I have is when using my Dyson V15 outsize. I have the wand attached to the Dyson and the roller head attachment. When the bin gets full or I need to hang the Dyson back up and remove all the attachments the connector is so hard. I’m talking about hard that I have to set the Dyson in between something and pull on the accessory connected to the wand to get disconnected. Sometime with full force. I am not happy that I have to flip my Dyson upside down and grip the accessories to remove it. Sometimes I get pinched by the floor cleaner when trying to pull it from the wand. There needs to be quality control testing on these. But otherwise it’s alright. If I could return and buy the Dyson brand I would.
