Pic is this seat before installation (top of photo, still wrapped ) compared with another kid seat I replaced . Liked that this is all plastic for easy wipe downs (some similar seats have the adult seat as wood). Bought it for the magnetic attachment point that holds the kid seat up with the toilet cover as it is raised, so adults won’t be inconvenienced by needing to move the kid seat when they use the toilet. (Or with my previous seat the kid seat completely covered the adult seat, so I worried adults were using it and thinking my toilet was weird , haha) It’s easy to fold down the kid seat. Easy to install! This has been a lifesaver for our family with a three y/o. It wasn’t until I purchased and installed this that he FINALLY started being consistent with his potty training and it magically became a thing he wanted to do. The fit is a bit short for our oval toilet seat, but it doesn’t bother us. The smaller seat stays up with the magnet and never falls down, but it’s also easy for my toddler to pull down quickly. Easy to clean; wipes right off. The quality is sub-par as the screws keep shifting and I have to tighten the screws regularly or the seat shifts. LOVE: -Built-in splash guard -EASY TO CLEAN -Slow-close lid AND trainer seat, not just lid -Saves space and time -Trainer seat doesn’t move around like the toilet training add-on seats do MAYBE CON but not really: -Had to buy a step stool to help toddler get onto the toilet, but this ended up saving us space because we use that same step stool to help the child reach the sink for handwashing, even when buying one of those seat toppers with built-in ladders, you’d still need to move it off for an adult to use that toilet, and you’d still need a ladder to get to the sink, anyway. We've done this, this was MESSY, I had to clean the thing before I moved it to use the toilet, it was gross. We got one for each of the bathrooms in our home, because it’s sleek and useful, and sometimes you can’t make it to the child’s bathroom, or that bathroom is already in use. We’ll be getting one for each of the grandparents’ guest bathrooms as well so that we have it to use when we visit. It’s a good guest bathroom toilet seat in general and makes your toilets more accessible to visiting toddlers who may be too small for an adult seat.
