It's a good one to read together until the child is able to grasp some of the more complex words and sentences. Have you ever had a two year old beg that you read Quest for the Heart as a bedtime story? I hear it all the time and everyday. My kid loves this abridged version of Moanas adventure. I don't know what about it captures his imagination, but he is here for it. This book is so important that we've had to buy it twice because the first one was ruined through some kind of liquid spill. Also the stickers on the back are rad and exciting. ... show more

My daughter has always enjoyed the Step into Reading books. Given she it a Moana fanatic, she thoroughly enjoyed this book for the story and for the artwork. She's looking forward to using the stickers to customize the scenes. Although this is a Step 3 level book, which is intended for Grades 1-3; it will be an easy read for a 3rd grader. I also purchased the Moana Hearts and Heroes sticker coloring book. That book included a digital download, which was this Quest for the Heart book. We love the step into reading books and this book is no exception. My 9 year old loves to read them to herself, my 6 year old loves to work on her reading aloud with her favorite movie characters and my Moana obsessed almost 2 year old loves to listen to her big siblings read or just sit and flip through the pictures by herself, and of course everyone loves the cute stickers.
