Waaaaay bigger than I thought. Was a neat shape, and a complete hollow. I ended up breaking it up to make it work for my enclosures. I didn’t see them, but there were a few tunnel spider nests. I ended up tossing this in the freezer to make sure no unwanted pests end up in my terrarium

I have no complaints about this item. It is exactly what I thought it would be. Value for the money is awesome, it’s actually larger than I thought it would be. My only warning for pet owners is to make sure your reptile won’t get stuck! My log had the main opening which is extremely large, but then in order to look more like a log it has a 2nd opening and that one is shaped like a funnel so my skink was able to go through it but then could not get its entire body through and ended up creating a sore on its body from wiggling trying to get out until I saw him! This is not the sellers fault, it is my own but I just wanted to warn others to learn from my mistake. Luckily we found the skink pretty quickly and he is fine now! ... show more

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought mine for a 36x16x16 enclosure and it fits in perfectly. Depending on the application I would probably not use this for an enclosure much smaller than that. The cork bark came in very well wrapped in bubble wrap and in perfect condition, in a perfect cylinder with no damaged parts. I know I saw some comments with one of the sides getting squashed down or parts falling off, but that was not my experience. I was planning to use the top of the cork bark as a basking spot and I am happy to say that it is high enough to accomplish this. ... show more

    • Inconsistent shapes, but a good hide for a reptile.
I will say, the one I got was extra large! However, the inconsistency of the product without getting to pick the one that will best suit my needs is frustrating.. Mine came broken in half and very flat. I wanted to break it in half so my snake could fit under it, but it's so flat that I had to stand it up on stuff. Otherwise, a great hide for him!
