This is a life saver! The cone was not working well (do any dogs actually like them?) and we ordered this for our golden who had double elbow surgery (dysplasia). It was easy to put on her with the velcro fastening in the back which also made it adjustable for fit and comfort. The sleeves are long but we rolled them up and that is working. My senior dog has a growth on his side and due to his age, we are not going to consider any surgery.. This recovery suit worked works well and stabilzes his growth so he can move around more easily. I did have to I trim the sleeves a bit because he is a short dog. It lasted about ten washes in the washing machine before the velcro started to not work, but that was an easy fix with new velcro, or you could hand wash and I'm sure it would last longer. I purchased based on the size guide chart. The chart is off. Way off. The neck and chest openings on this thing stretches a TON. So, definitely do NOT use the neck or chest measurements to help you figure out what size to order. Mostly you'll want to consider sleeve length. Pretty sure the XL could have fit a St. Bernard. The medium turned out to be chihuahua sized. The large probably could fit nearly everything larger than a chihuahua and smaller than a St Bernard. Material quality is great, and the overall design is exactly what I needed for my dog post op: Protected the chest and legs, but did not have to be removed for bathroom breaks. ... show more
